*A Few Days Later*
I woke up cuddling Skye. It was just different because I was laying on her. Usually she's on me all cute. I'm on my left side with my bad arm draped over her. I'm laying my head on her chest, listening to her heartbeat. It's so soothing. I know she's already up because she's got her hand in my hair and giving me head scratches. I kissed her chest before finally talking.
Me: Goodmorning Baby Momma.
Skye leaned her head down and kissed my head before answering.
Skye: Goodmorning Baby Daddy. How'd you sleep?
Me: I have the best sleep when I cuddle you but like when I lay on your chest it's different. I guess your heartbeat soothes me more or something but I got some of the best sleep I've had in a long time. How about you baby?
Skye: I'm glad you slept good baby. I slept pretty good too. You kept me warm all night. It was really nice and sometimes I'd feel you cuddle more into me. It was so sweet.
Me: I didn't hurt you did I?
Skye: No baby not at all. I loved it really I did. You were being so sweet even in your sleep. Like I said you would cuddle more into me and at random times you'd give my chest little kisses or you would raise your head up and kiss my neck or my cheek. The first few times you did I had thought you were awake so I'd say your name to ask if you were ok. I'd say like baby or baby daddy and I'd look down and see your eyes closed. You had this little smile on your face it was so adorable. Id just think like, "awe he loves me even when he's sleeping."
Me: You should know I love you babygirl.
Skye: I know sweet boy but it was still really sweet. You were really cute with that little smile on your face sleeping snug as a bug in a rug. It's like "Awe my baby tired." I've been up for a while so I was just on my phone and giving you scratches. When I was on my phone I looked down at you after I saw Toni texting me, asking about you. So I sent her a video of us. It showed us cuddled up and you kissed my chest right before it ended.
Me: Oh god Toni's never gonna let me live that down.
Skye: No baby, she loved it. She blew me up talking about how cute we are and how sweet you are. I FaceTimed her later and I told her to be quiet before I showed you on the camera. You kissed my chest and cuddled into me before I put my hand in your hair. I started giving you scratches before I kissed your head. After I kissed you, I said "hims so sweet," and you cuddled more into me. I kissed you again and said "Mamas sweet boy," before I smiled and stuck my tongue out before I ended the call.
Me: Well if I'm anybody's sweet boy, I'm definitely Mamas sweet boy.
Skye: And who's mamas?
Me: You're mamas.
Skye leaned down and kissed my head before she spoke.
Skye: Good boy.
I groaned when I rolled onto my back. My ribs still hurt and my right arm is killing me. Skye heard me groan and started to get up.
Me: Baby?
Skye: Yes baby boy?
Me: Where are you going?
Skye: To get your medicine baby. I heard you groan and I know you're hurting.
Me: But I want you to stay...I want cuddles.
Skye: Sweet boy, you'll get more cuddles when I get back. You'll get your pillow back in a minute. Mama promises.
Me: Okay mamas.
When she left I used my good arm and grabbed her pillow before snuggling up to it. When she walked back in our room she saw me.
Skye: Oh my god baby is that my pillow?
