Chapter 8

Soo sorry I haven't updated in a while!

"Sophie?! Sophie?! Wake up!! Sophie!!!" A voice screams at Sophie.

Sophie's eyes snap open and she bolts upright. Keefe stares at her worriedly. "A-are you ok Sophie?" He asks her.

"I...yeah, I'm fine. Nightmare." She mumbles.
"Ok...well, we better get ready for school." Keefe says, standing up.

They have breakfast (Keefe is a surprisingly good cook) and Keefe drives Sophie to school in his yellow (good looking) Lamborghini.

When they get to school, Sophie looks around for Biana. She couldn't see her or Fitz! Just then, Keefe's phone rang. It was Biana. "Hi Keefe, hi Sophie." She sniffled. "Just letting you know, we all came down with a terrible cold last night..we won't be at school for a while."

What?! No!! Who's going to take me to see my parents?! Sophie panicked.
"Sophie..you might wanna ask Keefe to drive you to the hospital, we won't be able to." Biana said, noticing the panic in Sophie's eyes. After talking a bit, they ended the call.

"I..I hope you don't mind me asking.." Keefe started, as they walked to their lockers, "but why do you need to go to the hospital?"

Sophie took a deep breath. "Well..my parents had a car crash a few days ago...the Vackers were going to drive me to the hospital to visit them." It was weird, she didn't mind telling Keefe about the crash. In fact, it made her feel...better.

They got their books and headed to class.

The lunch bell rang, jolting Sophie out of her daydream. (That...may or may not have involved Keefe...)

Everyone stood up, collecting their books. "Hey! The bell doesn't dismiss you, I dismiss you!" The teacher cried. Sighing heavily, the class sat back down. "Because of that, you will ALL have more homework!"
The class groaned.

After the teacher had assigned the extra homework, AND dismissed them, Sophie walked to the cafeteria..alone. But she was used to it. After all, she was the small quiet girl everyone picked on. She took out one of her 'nerdy little nerd' books and read while she walked.

"Heeey Fosterr!" A shout rang out when Sophie got to the cafeteria, causing absolute...silence.

And stares.

So.

Many.

Stares.

Sophie slowly raised her head, trying not to grimace, and saw a grinning Keefe walking towards her. Keefe grabbed her hand, causing her heart to jump up and down in excitement. "I shall escort you to your new table!" He cried, leading her to where he sat, and far away from her nice, quiet, and totally empty table. Sophie gulped, passing astonished eyes and snakes of whispers.

This, she was not used to. At. All.

Sophie sat down at Keefe's crowded table. She looked down at her lunch. She wasn't hungry anymore. Is everyone still staring? She peeked up through her eyelashes. Now they weren't just staring, they were also glaring! Well, at least, the girls were...
A lot of the girls at Foxfire high liked Keefe. They obviously now thought that either Keefe liked Sophie, or, they were dating.

Which was not good for Sophie.

After the bell had gone for the end of the day, Keefe came up to Sophie. "Do you need a ride?" He asked. Sophie nodded. "Ok, I'll tell Della and Alden where you're going."

Keefe called the Vackers and told them. Then they went in Keefe's car. Sophie noticed that many of the girls whispered and took videos/photos of them whenever they passed in the hallways, and especially now.

That's all I can do today, sorry! Again, sorry I haven't been able to publish anything! I'll try to do better next time! Oh, and also...

Pinch and a punch for the first day of the month!!
