REHZAAN'S POV:
I called her retreating figure but got no response sighing I followed her. She entered a open house and bent infront of a little toodler who was crying uncontrolablly. She picked him in her arms and tried to calm her down.
"Shh.......baby calm down mumma yahi kahi hogi 2 min do please mumma aajaegi." she was looking adorable with the small baby in her arms I stood beside her "Baby aap chup hojae warna meri baby rone lagegi please!" I looked at Sharika who was glaring holes in me I smiled sheepishly. The toddler chukled looking at us which made us smile too.
I kept my head on her shoulder snaking my arms around her waist she smiled looking at me and then shifted her attention towards the kid. "Arey Zaan tum kab aae?" a famine voice came from behind I stood straight creating some distance between us and turned towards the voice.
"Meena dadi kaisi hai aap?" I asked taking a step back missing her warmth instantly. She was my favourite in the village. I used to spend half of my vacations here with her. Sharika turned too passing a smile to her she said "Uhh......Namaste dadi!" "Khush raho beti ya main kahu bahu!" she passed a teasing smile to us Sharika looked down all embarresed.
"Kya dadi aap bhi kuch bhi bolti ho aesa kuch nahi hai vo bas ye baccha ro raha tha to....." I tried to come up with some stories "Chal chal jis dadi se kahanaiya sun sun ke bada hua hai use hi aaj kahaniya suna raha hai!" she chukled.
"Vo ye baby.....iski mumma kaha hai? Bohot ro raha tha!" Sharika said softly looking at the kid "Beta ye mera pota hai Manoj ka beta. La mujhe dede tu thak gai hogi!" She tried to take the kid from her who started to cry not ready to leave my baby.
"Koi baat nahi dadi mere pass hi rehne dijiye!" She said with a bright smile looking at the baby smiling "Manoj bhai ka beta bhi hogaya or mujhe koi khabar bhi nahi." I frowned "Aapke pass samay ho tab na beta jii.....main to sochti thi kahi bhul to nahi gae hum sab ko par tum to...." she looked at Sharika and smiled who was sitting on a mat with her back resting against the wall busy with the baby.
We talked for some more time then I noticed time. "We have twenty minutes to reach back dadi hum phir jaldi hi aaenge par abhi ke liye chalte hai!" I smiled towards her who nodded in a yes "Chalein Sharika?" I turned towards her but the view was too cute to be disturbed.
The baby was sleeping in her lap while she herself was dozing off. Her hair strands were disturbing her but her face was all calm with a small smile resting on her lips. Looking at her a smile formed on my face automatically.
"Bohot pyaari bachi hai beta jiske dil main ek anjaan bache ke liye ittna pyaar ho vo apne bacho or rishto ko kitna pyaar karegi. Kismat wala hoga vo jiske naseeb main iska pyaar hoga!" Dadi looked at me in last with a smile.
We moved towards them dadi picked the baby in her lap while I kneeled infront of her to wake her up. She always gets me on my knees. "Sharika we have to go they must be waiting.....wake up!" She turned her head away still in sleep.
"Baccha wake up we have to leave please!" I muttered close to her ears she slowly opened her eyes "Sorry pata nahi kab aankh laggai but why are you kneeling like this?" "Only you have the power to make me kneel in front of you!" I said softly helping her to stand up. She looked at me confused.
We touched dadi's feet together "Humesha khush raho sath raho!" she blessed us passing her a smile we moved for bus.
SHARIKA'S POV:
We were walking together in silence the weather was windy and cloudy. "You are a frequent visitor aren't you?" I raised my eyebrow he nodded looking straight. I followed his pace not to be left behind and asked again "Why didn't you told me that before?" "You didn't asked." he shrugged I pouted in annoyance.
