REHZAAN'S POV:

"Shall we leave?" she tilted her head thinking for some seconds and agreed. We were in middle of a market when she suddenly said "Rehzaan rukiye na!" making me pull the breaks immedieatly I looked behind my shoulder to know what happened "Panipuri!" she pouted pointing her finger towards a stall.

"That's all??" she nodded innocently "Aap ne dara diya tha mujhe!" I shook my head stopping the bike near the stall she smiled sheepishly. She stood near the vendor with a plate in her hand while I adored my baby. How her lips moved, how her eyes became teary with the spices but she still want to have more spicy.

"Aap nahi khaoge?" she turned towards me I shook my head in a no she forwarded the last panipuri towards me showing the best puppy eyes she made me eat the last panipuri paying to the seller I bought a water bottle. Her eyes nose and lips were all red with excess spices opening the cap I forwarded it to her. drinking the water her eyes caught something their glint was evident.

"Vo chuni kitni sundar h main lekar aau?" she turned towards me "Main bhi chalta hu!" she shook her head "Arey! Pass main hi to hai aap yahi raho main abhi aai!" Beaming she moved towards the shop. I stood there waiting for her when some bangles caught my eyes "glass bangles!!" I remember how much she loved them especially the white ones they broke that day when she saved me from her Bade Papa the day she separated from me.

Without thinking I went towards the stall a lady in her 60s greeted with a smile "Kya cahiye chora?" "Ye safed kanch ke kade!!" I replied "Kanch wale? Aaj kal to choriyo ko ye sab jada pasand aawe h soch le kahi naraz naa hojae!" she forwarded some funky bracelets I shook my head in a no "Use kanch hi pasand hai!"

She smiled packing the bangles "Vaise keke vaste leraha hai?" she asked handing me the packet I shook my head giving her cash "Mahri lugai le vaste!" I grinned moving back towards the bike. "Kaha chale gae the aap?" she asked as I came in her view "Aapke liye ye lene!" she looked at the packet carefully "Kanch ke kade?"

I nodded "Safed kaach ke kade aapke purane wale tut gae the na or aapke pass har rang ke hai bas safed nahi the!" She smiled softly sitting beside me "Haa maine kade khareede hi nahi tab se!" her statement made me feel guilty somewhere. If I forgot my hobbies she too left her desires. Today she returned me my basketball and I am happy that I could get her these bangles.

"Ghar chalein?" she said softly "Aapko ghar jana hai?" I thought she would want to explore the market, dinner date or something else, she nodded slowly. I turned the bike towards our apartment she was lost entire time in her thoughts. Isn't she happy? Should I have not bought those bangles?

Unlocking the door she bought a glass of water handing it to me she turned to leave her eyes were low "Kya hua Jaan?" I held her wrist stopping her on her steps she shook her head in a no trying to free her wrist I pulled her towards me startling on her steps she ended up on my lap "What is it?" I asked again.

She shifts her face towards me keeping her head on my chest she sobs while I hold her close to me "Everyone called, messaged except for them they don't even remember that they married their daughter leave that they would have also forgotten that I exist......Bade Papa messaged when we were on the bike see.......'happy anniversary Sharika sorry we forgot!'" She forwarded her phone towards me.

"Is it that easy to forget someone?" she said further sniffling burying her face on my chest. I rubbed her back to sooth her. I wanted her to be happy it was our day to celebrate but this man God!! How can someone be this egoistic for God's sake it has been a whole year but his frustration feels never ending.
