AUTHOR'S POV:
He came out of bathroom with only a sweatpant on and went straight to the balcony. His little tanned bare tarso was shining with water all over it as the moon light fell over him, a perfect build body, broad shoulders, build up arms with veins clearly visible, a perfect jawline, messed up wet hairs, some strands falling on his forehead with water dripping he was the definition of perfectionism.
He stood their gazing at the moon when a knock echoed in the silent room and the room opened with a jerk. She entered the room and closed the door with a loud *thud.
She looked like a mess yet so attractive her small round face, chubby cheeks, eyes adored with a thick blue kajal were filled with unshed tears, her small nose and plum lips and slender neck did justice to her beauty. Her nude lipstick and light makeup with a small red bindi, hair tied in a messy braid with some strands lingering on her face, vermillion filled in her hair partition and a sacred thread in her neck added to her beauty.
The red saree that did justice to her curves, she was not too thin to fit in the so called beauty standards but anyone who looked at her once found it difficult to remove their eyes. Her big earrings, bangles and anklets made loud noise in that silent dark room as she moved. She saw a figure standing in the balcony and moved towards him slowly.
She came and stood a step behind him. Her breath hitched as she saw his finely build back. He looked so fine just like the men she read about but she had other mess to clear for now rather than ogling him.
She cleared her throat to gain his attention not sure of how to call him, but he didn't even budged. "See I don't know what you expect from me, we are complete stranger. I don't even know your name, neither have I ever seen you even now it's your back facing me not you and here we are standing together as HUSBAND AND WIFE!" a tear dropped from her eyes "I....I want..I wanted to clear some things!" she took a deep breath and continued "I was never ready for this, I never wanted all this, it was my family who decided everything. They wanted to save their company and so they got me married to you. I wanted time to process all this, to accept you, to accept us....."
