I woke up to my phone blowing up with calls & texts. I called back Dominic first.

Hey what's up?? Everything okay with my nephew & bestie. I asked.
Where you at?? Imma come get you. He asked.
Dominic what's going on?? I asked.
It's Kai,Amaya. He said.
What do you mean?? What happened?? I said getting up quickly,grabbing my stuff,& getting in my car.
He got in a car accident. He said.
N-No, what hospital are you guys at?? I said crying.
North Saint Hospital. Take a breather. Stay on the phone with me.He said.
O-Okay. I said driving to the hospital. It was an hour away.

Dominic POV

I was in the waiting room with Shawn,Mich,& Jamel plus Kai's family. I was on the phone with my little sister. Kalvin caught me up on everything that happened this morning. We're still waiting on an update from the doctor. He's in surgery right now.
After a while, I saw my little sister come out the elevator.

Where is he Dom?? I need to see him. She said crying.
He's in surgery right now. We're waiting for an update.I said & hugged her quickly.
W-We got into a fight & he left. I-I should've stopped him. She said crying still & shaking.
Breath Destiny. You're going to have a panic attack.
I said looking at her.
I-I can't. It's my fault he left Dom. She said.

They drove off?? She asked mad.

They hit Kai & drove off. They didn't even call an ambulance?? Imma kill them it's okay. She said bluntly.

Time Skip:4 Hours 4AM

I stayed up not being able to sleep at all. The doctor finally came & spoke to us again.

I have good news, he's out of surgery & in stable condition. If you guys would like to see him you can. He should be waking up soon. Doctor Wesley said.
Sweetheart go see him. Mrs.Williams said helping me up.
O-Okay. I said following the doctor down the hall.

I stood by the door looking at my husband hooked up to machines. My heart shattered & I started crying again.

I'll give you your space. He's a strong man & it's truly a miracle. The doctor said walking out & closing the door.

I sat down on the chair & held his hand. I cried my eyes out again so bad they hurt.

P-Please don't leave us we need you. Your parents & brothers need you babe. Please don't go, I-I don't know what I'll do without you. I don't know if I'll be able to keep going. Jelly Bean needs to see his Dad. I love you so much & I'm so sorry. I said crying putting my head on his hand.

Kai POV

I woke up in a hospital bed in a lot of pain & sore. Then I heard her crying. I put my hand on her face. She jumped up. I heard everything she said.
