You saw me naked,
Completely naked.
But you didnt just see my body,
You saw me,
The real me.
You let me take the mask off
And reveal my true naked self to you.
You saw me naked,
Knowing I was once a victim,
Knowing it was hard for me to trust someone with my physical body again,
And you said it was gorgeous.
You said I was the most beautiful girl you had ever seen,
A precious gem that needed protection.
To others they may have just been words;
However, I saw the hearts in your eyes when you looked at me.
I saw the sparkle in your eyes when you looked upon me,
Upon my body,
And I knew I was safe,
With you.
You saw me naked,
My true emotions revealed,
The real me, unclothed.
You saw my darkness;
You saw my light.
You saw it all.
I was exposed.
However I wasnt scared,
Nor frightened.
I felt at peace,
Knowing for the first time,
ever,
I was loved for me,
My personality,
The good,
The bad,
The mid,
You loved me for all that I was.
For all that I am.
And,
I love you too.
