You stare in terror at the dark copy of yourself. It looks at you without emotion and lunches. You draw the Titan Sword and swing but the copy manifests a Titan Sword of its own.
Kuuga: Huh?
The copy has a terrifying amount of power as it manages to send your Titan Form flying.
Kuuga: Cho... Cho Henshin!
You transform into Rising Pegasus and shoot at the copy but it blocks with the Titan Sword. Its sword changes into the Pegasus Bowgun and it shoots you with a barrage of blasts.
Your Thoughts: What the hell?!
Kuuga: C-Cho Henshin!
You change to Rising Dragon and try to pierce the copy with your staff but it smacks you with its own staff.
Nomu: Fear...
Your Thoughts: Why...
The Nomu takes the opportunity to smash you into the ground.
Aoi: Y/N!
Daguva smirks as he watches the fight.
Daguva: Quite an interesting situation. Can this draw out that power of yours... Kuuga?
The copy disperses its weapon and starts beating you.
Kuuga: C-Cho... H-Henshin!
You change to Rising Titan and try to tank the hits but the copy is relentless.
Aoi: Get away from him!
Aoi lunges at the copy but passes right through it.
Nomu: Not Kuuga... Not target...
The monster knocks Aoi away and the shark girl crashes into a table.
Kuuga: Aoi!
The copy punches you in the chest and knocks the wind out of you.
Daguva: A pity. I expected more from Kuuga. Kill them... Start with the girl...
Despite the distance between Daguva and the Nomu, it reacts. It charges towards Aoi.
Kuuga: Aoi!
You change to Rising Mighty and run towards them but your copy gets in your way.
Kuuga: Gouram!
The beetle flies in out of nowhere and you jump on its back, avoiding the copy. You then jump between Aoi and the Nomu and thrust your fist forward. The armor shatters around your arm as golden flames erupt from your hand, sending the monster flying.
Kuuga: Woah...
You stare at your hand and clench your fist.
Kuuga: This is my power... I won't be afraid anymore!
You glow as you take on your Amazing Mighty Form. Your legs glow bright as you jump up. The copy tries to shoot you with the Pegasus Bowgun but the attack now passes through you. You pass through the copy, kicking clean through it and kicking the Nomu full force.
Nomu: Strong...
Kuuga: Let's see you regenerate from this!
The Nomu growls as it explodes. You take a breath as you fall on your back. Your copy looks at you with a blank expression before fading.
Daguva: Quite interesting... You never cease to surprise me, Kuuga... Keep growing stronger. It will be more fun that way.
He turns and vanishes before anyone can see him.
Aoi: Y/N!
You de-transform and sit up with a dumb smile.
Y/N: Can we have a normal date now?
Your girlfriend laughs and holds you as Gouram nudges you happily.
That night, you return to UA with Aoi and you find your classmates in the dorm lobby.
Y/N: Hey everyone.
Ashido and Uraraka look at you nervously.
Ashido: Are you... okay?
Y/N: Yeah. Though it was not as peaceful of a day out as expected. Anyway, how about dinner? I'll cook.
With that, you walk into the kitchen and prepare to cook dinner.
The class of 1-A look at each other.
Sero: He seems to be doing better.
Yaoyorozu: It's just good to see him like his normal self again.
Mineta: What did the two of you do?
The purple haired boy points at Aoi accusingly but Hagakure smacks him upside the head.
Aoi: We just walked around town. Stopped at a cafe. Had a run in with a Nomu.
Midoriya: What?
Aoi explains the situation and everyone goes quiet.
Midoriya: Then the League of Villains is still active... And they're Nomu are getting stronger...
We find Daguva sitting in Garaki's lab and while Daguva sat with a bored look on his face, Garaki is yelling at him.
Garaki: I told you the High Ends weren't ready! And look what happened! You got one of my precious experiments killed!
Daguva grabs the doctor by his collar with a terrifying glint in his eyes.
Daguva: The Nomu served its purpose. Besides, even your best work is inferior to the Grongi.
Garaki: If they are so great, then why are you the only one left?
Daguva smirks, bringing the doctor close and baring his fangs.
Daguva: Little mutt's got some bark...
He drops the doctor and stands up.
Daguva: Though... Since Kuuga is getting stronger, I suppose it's time to play some of my cards.
And without another word, Daguva leaves the lab, leaving Garaki and his work.
