He stood, still fully clothed, in front of the tub. He stood over it, hesitant.
"I'm not hearing water, Georgie." Matt tapped the door twice. Georgie mumbled an apology Matt probably didn't hear. He didn't know quite where to start, it felt awkward. He heard his aunt talking about her experiences with cameras inside bathrooms, so he really didn't want to take his clothes off. Matt tapped on the door two more times.
"Don't waste my time, kid." he groaned. Georgie heard Matt lean his head on the door. Georgie sighed and slowly took his top off. He looked around and kept an eye out for any visible cameras. Seeing none, he slowly took his pants and brief off.
He tip-toed into the bathtub and drew the curtains. He turned the pipe on and took a bath.
Back downstairs, Ozzie was being practically cornered by Charlie. Davin was sleeping, not to mention his back was turned. Charlie looked down at Ozzie and smirked. Ozzie whimpered. His cast was still on, and his other hand was useless to him, since he was left-handed. Charlie leaned closer to him.
"How's your arm?" he asked deviously, his smirk still prominent. Ozzie looked away.
"Okay, why do you suddenly care?" he spat. Charlie's smile wavered a little. He pat Ozzie's head.
"Well, Ozzie, I'll have you know I'm trying to turn over a new leaf." he stated proudly, resting his hand on his chest and smirking. Ozzie rolled his eyes, knowing Charlie's probably lying, but entertains him.
"Oh? Well, my arm isn't feeling any better." he smirked. Charlie is visibly annoyed.
"So, you're defenseless, is what you're saying?" Charlie grins.
"Defenseless against what?" Ozzie tilted his head and blinked continuously. The atmosphere turns dark.
"Not what, who. Me, Ozzie." Charlie leans so close Ozzie can practically feel his breath. Ozzie's brows furrow and Charlie rolled his eyes and smirked.
"What's so dangerous about you?" Ozzie smirked back. Charlie squeezed the mattress. Ozzie looked down at his hands.
"Wanna find out?" Charlie puts his hand under his chin. Ozzie looks away. Charlie does it again and tackles Ozzie and holds him in place. He squirms in Charlie's grasp, trying desperately to get out of it. Charlie leans in and is dragged back. Davin stands over him, red faced.
Charlie looks him right in the eye and curses under his breath. He smiles. "What a cock blocker, Davin." he rolls his eyes sarcastically. Davin growls and smack the back of his head.
"Over there, now." he orders, pointing to the other side of the room. Charlie rolls his eyes and-aggressively-got off the mattress. He huffed, turned to Ozzie and growled, then left. Davin bent down to his level.
"I told you to wake me up or get my attention if he tries this." Davin semi-scolded. Ozzie sighed and nodded slowly. The basement door opened, and Georgie came back down. He was now wearing the same black top and white shorts as everyone. Davin stared at him and looked up the stairs.
Matt was there, and he was staring down at Georgie and all the others. He closed the door and probably locked it too. Georgie went straight to his mattress without eye contact with anyone. He seemed down and that made Davin frown. Davin got up and stood in front of Georgie's mattress. From where he sat, Davin looked like a giant. He bent down.
"What's up with you?" Davin asked, tilting his head. Georgie looked up at him and whined.
"The water is really cold..." he whimpered. Davin sat down in front of him. He chuckled and Georgie squinted his eyes at him. Davin felt a bit of relief it wasn't anything serious. Georgie couldn't understand the chuckle.
"That's fine, though. At least your clean, and soon enough, you'll officially be one of us." he ruffled Georgie's hair. He rose a brow.
"One of you?" he asked in a confused tone. What's that supposed to mean?
"Y'know. When Matt figures out what your ability is and gives you Zaphane, to wear." he smiled. Georgie got even more confused.
"I thought being here already made me 'one of you'?" he asked. Davin nodded.
"It does, but you haven't been fully restricted yet, from using your powers, I mean." Georgie didn't like the idea of being restricted, from anything. He found it so strange how casual Davin sounded when talking about this. Georgie stretched his arms out to Davin and was accepted.
Davin hugged him lightly and Georgie hugged him-much tighter-and they fell backwards. Ozzie watched on but keeping his distance. There was no way they were close already, right? But he could admit, however, that Davin had a natural charisma. Maybe he's just good at comforting people, considering.
Ozzie looked down at his hand, Matt told him it should heal in about 3-6 week's time. He hates having to wait that long, being fed is so embarrassing. He saw Charlie silently snickering about it last night. He couldn't say anything either, Matt wouldn't really care. Why would he, it's not that big of a deal.
Charlie was on the other end of the room, seething. Ozzie felt slightly intimidated, and even more so when Charlie glanced over at him. Ozzie immediately looked away from him but could still feel his gaze. Luckily for him, Davin was awake, so he couldn't do anything. But what is he planning when Davin goes to take his bath?
He shook his head violently, trying to rid himself of the thought. He focused his attention back to Davin and Georgie. Davin was still lying down, and Georgie was on top of him. Georgie was sitting on top of Davin and staring down at him. Davin had his eyes closed, possibly sleeping. Georgie checked his heartrate and stayed where he was on his chest.
Georgie hums and hugs Davin, closing his eyes. He fell asleep on Davin's chest once before, and both times made Ozzie a little jealous. Davin was very indifferent towards Ozzie about anything that didn't have to do with Charlie. He would never let Ozzie sleep on his chest, not that he ever tried.
Charlie also didn't bother going back over to him, rather he said in his corner and played with a piece of tin foil he had been keeping under his mattress. He threw it up in the air and caught it, and he did this repeatedly. This was always his form of entertainment, as far as Ozzie could remember.
The basement door opened again, but Georgie and Davin stayed asleep at the end of the mattress. Matt was at the staircase, with a frown on his face. He didn't look very happy, and that was never a good sign.
