Charlie sat beside Davin, who was sleeping. He smirked and shook him violently. Davin groaned awake, sitting up, yawning and stretching. Davin glared over at Charlie, who smiled. He pointed behind him, pointing out the two sleeping boys. Davin rose his brow.

"The other two are asleep, and we already know what a heavy sleeper Oswald is." he leaned in closer to Davin, who groaned. He turned his head away from Charlie and pushed him back. Charlie pouted and rolled his eyes, crawling back over to his bed.

"What else do you expect me to want to do?" Charlie complains. "It's horrible in here, and it's not like I can kill myself! I have no means of entertainment other than you, please Davin." he put on a puppy face and stared directly into Davin's eyes. Davin looked away.

"No way, what if Mat comes down? Not to mention I don't want too anyway. It was a onetime thing, and it was stupid. I'm not gay, Charlie." Davin crossed his arms. Charlie growled and huffed.

"Fine. Whatever, Dave." Charlie grumbled, lying back down, facing away from Dave. He sighed and crawled over to Charlie.

"Please don't be mad." he traced Charlie's back with his index finger. Charlie didn't answer, or even acknowledge him. Dave sighed again. "I'm telling you Charlie, we're done. We're dead."

"So why not have fun with it?" Charlie reasoned, shrugging. Davin shook his head.

"Cause it's wrong. We did," he cleared his throat "once. It was never for you to take seriously." Davin held up his finger for emphasis.

"Well, I did, and now you're," he pointed at Davin's chest. "Being the biggest douche about it." Davin held both of his hands up in surrender.

"Charlie, I'm sorry, alright? But let's not do this now, or ever." Davin glared. Charlie gritted his teeth and hummed aggressively, lowering his finger and lying back down.

Davin rolled his eyes and went to his own mattress.

Mat came down the stairs with his regular breakfast, egg sandwiches. Georgie had noticed that Davin and Charlie hadn't interacted all morning. In the few days he'd been there, there wasn't a day those two weren't talking. Georgie shrugged it off as none of his business, if anything was even wrong.

Ozzie had been struggling to balance the foil in his right hand. Matt groaned and grabbed it from him, shoving the sandwich in his mouth.

"I'm not going to do everything for you, Ozzie." Ozzie managed to take a bit of the sandwich and Matt took it from his mouth. Ozzie chewed quickly and swallowed, Matt put another bite in his mouth and drew it back. It went on like that until the sandwich was finished. Georgie had also finished his sandwich. He noticed Charlie was still eating, also unusual.

Georgie stared at Matt, and he noticed it from his peripheral vision. He stared back, and Georgie looked away immediately. Matt chuckled and took the wrapped-up foil from Georgie's hand. Georgie peeked up and saw Matt smiling at him. He got up with the tray and two foil wraps and went up the stairs.

Georgie looked over, Dave was in his corner, staring up at the ceiling. Charlie was staring at the wall his mattress leaned against. Georgie stood up and went over to the line from a few days ago. Dave looked in front of him and saw Georgie standing over it. Georgie turned sideways to look at Dave.

"Why can't we cross this line?" he pointed downwards, and Dave followed his finger. He thought for a moment, then looked over at a small table just beyond the line Georgie pointed at. The table had a walkie talkie on it and a baby monitor beside it. Davin pointed to it. Georgie followed the invisible line.

"He won't be able to see us, why don't you wave to the camera?" Dave laughed in a bitter tone and smirked. Georgie was caught off guard by Davin's tone.

"That wasn't very nice." Georgie waddled back to his mattress and threw himself on it, swiftly regretting his action. The mattress isn't as thick as he thought, and he could feel the floor on his stomach as he winced. Charlie chuckled a little, much to Georgie's dismay.

"That was comforting, for me, anyway." he joked. Georgie squinted his eyes at him, though he was unaffected, reveling in the displeasure. "Yes, I feed off your discomfort, brat." he hissed, grinning widely. Georgie rolled over on his mattress and tried forgetting Charlie even existed. It's only been a few days and Charlie's proving to be annoying and mean.

Ozzie shared Georgie's glance for a second. Georgie looked at the other side of the steps. It, too, had a large empty space just past the staircase. He assumed a white line might be there. He could also make out an identical table with the same walkie talkie and baby monitor. Maybe Davin wasn't being an entire meanie after all, Georgie thought.

Matt opened the basement door but didn't come downstairs. He held the door, too. "Georgie," he called out. Everyone looked towards him. Georgie froze, only his eyes being able to look up.

"Come upstairs, will you?" Mat had a goofy, misleading smiling. Any random person would have no reason to expect he was a serial kidnapper with that smile. But, alas, he was. Georgie got up and steadily, and slowly, made his way to the staircase. Once there, he gripped the railing and took steps with 3 second intervals.

Matt didn't say anything to him about how slow he was being, maybe he understood why? Georgie paused thinking as he finally made it all the way up the 20 something on the staircase. Matt shut the door and Georgie got a good look at the other die of the door. It had a padlock looking thing on it.

Unlike any padlock he'd seen, this one was all black with buttons with numbers beside it. Matt made sure the thing was locked and took Georgie's hand. He brought him to the other side of the steps. This gave Georgie more time to scope out the environment. The couch he'd seen before was still there, and from where he was standing, he saw the room it was in was a lime green. In front of it was a box television and he saw a cream carpet.

The walls outside the room were cream colored and the floor was covered in fluffy carpeting. Was it like this before, he didn't remember. Mat let go of his hand and opened a door behind the stairs. This door led to a small bathroom. It had a small tub, a sink, and a toilet with a tissue roll on top of it. The sink had a soap bar and liquid soap, and a mirror right in front of it.

Georgie looked up at Matt, who looked back down at him. On the toilet seat were a folded top and shorts. The shorts, black and the top, white. Matt gestured Georgie inside, though he didn't follow.

"You can bathe yourself, right Georgie?" Georgie nodded, slightly confused. Matt smiled. "Good, call me when you're done." and he closed the door.

Wait, Georgie thought, he's supposed to take a bath?
