Ozzie looked over at Charlie and Davin. Charlie had been in a huff since he came downstairs, and Davin's been comforting him. It was jarring, seeing Charlie like this. After hushes and calm downs, Davin finally asked Charlie the inevitable question."What's wrong? The last time you were in a huff you-" Charlie cut him off.
"I shouted at Matt!" he threw himself back in Davin's arms. "I didn't learn my lesson and he said, even when he gets back, he's not feeding me dinner, and knowing Matt, every meal'll become dinner!" he complained. Davin pat his head. Ozzie's eyes sparkled.
"You shouted at Matt? That's cool." he smiled. Charlie chuckled and turned to Ozzie.
"Not cool, never try it, kid." he nuzzled his face in Davin's chest. He patted his head again. Ozzie lied down on his mattress and faced them until he fell asleep.
"I want my mom!" Charlie screamed as he was thrown down on the mattress. Matt groaned and glared down at him. Davin was huddled on his mattress.
"Yeah? Well, that's too damn bad kid, cause you're never seeing your mother, ever again!" he shouted back, clenching his fist.
"You're wrong! My mom's looking for me, and when she finds me, you're done!" he said confidently.
Matt smirked. "Threats, huh? Well kid, if your mom were looking for you, your face would be all over town, but it isn't! It's been a month, she's not looking for you, because she doesn't care that you're gone! She doesn't care about you!" Charlie winced and turned his head away. Matt knelt down and turned it back. "She doesn't love you, she's probably glad you're gone. And for the rest of the week, you're not allowed to speak, understand that?" Charlie stared at him for a few seconds before he nodded. Matt got up.
He walked towards the stairs and stopped midway up. "But I assume she taught you how to behave? I suggest you do that." he walked all the way up and closed and locked the door. Charlie started shaking tears in his eyes. He didn't dare speak or sob, scared he'd hear. Davin crawled over and hugged him.
"I'm sorry."
Georgie stared at the ceiling, bored out of his mind. He turned on his side and sighed. As he sighed, he couched, then sneezed. Matt had left two rolls of tissue paper and a bucket of water, along with 8 water bottles. Georgie guessed it was one a day. He got off the bed and went back over to the window. He noticed the lock, and played with it, hoping it would open. He looked up and saw a medium height lady with reddish blonde hair jogging.
She looked up and seemed to notice him too, she stopped her jog. They stared at each other for a while, then she waved. He gasped and his eyes widened. He quickly jumped back on the bed and smothered himself with a pillow. He sighed and looked at the bedhead. The last time he had a fever, his mother told him to sleep a lot, so he did that.
He laid his head down and closed his eyes, trying his best to drift to sleep.
"There are other words than the ones you know, you're aware of that?" Charlie folded his arms. Davin nodded.
"I'm not completely oblivious, you know that, right?"
"Affirmative." Charlie teased. Davin tilted his head. "I'm saying yes, I know you aren't completely oblivious." he rolled his eyes playfully. Davin smiled, and Charlie smiled.
"Very funny, are there other words you know that I don't?" he asked playfully. Before he could respond, the door opened, and Matt came down the stairs. He glared at them and looked over at Ozzie.
"Wake him up, will you?" he ordered, and Davin nodded. Matt wasted no time and hurried back upstairs. Charlie let go of a breath he didn't realize he was holding. Davin looked at him and got closer. Charlie blinked and rose a brow.
Charlie could feel Davin's slow breath as he inched closer. Davin bit his lip in hesitation, before kissing Charlie. He was taken aback, and Davin was surprised too, but he didn't stop. Charlie kissed back. Davin pulled away and smiled. "That's called a kiss, right?" he asked jokingly. Charlie nodded profusely, flustered. His cheeks were red and burning. Davin pecked his cheek and patted his head.
"Sorry about that." he smiled. Charlie stared into his eyes, almost lost in them. He couldn't speak, he felt like if he didn't, he'd mumble something stupid.
"It was never for you to take seriously."
Charlie sighed. Davin and Ozzie were asleep on their respective mattresses. He looked over at Davin and groaned, facepalming. He blushed, sad. He looked around the room and laid on his mattress. He turned over to face Davin, who looked cute when he slept. Charlie never saw Davin fall asleep first much.
His belly grumbled, and he punched it. "You heard Matt," he whispered to his stomach. "Even if he was here, we wouldn't eat, so shut it." he sighed, shifting around. He huffed and sat up, looking around again. He got up and brushed himself off. He walked over to the line and stared at him.
Then, he looked at the camera, the damned camera that watched him daily. Still in bounds of the line, he stepped in front of the camera and crouched, putting his hands on his thighs and squinting his eyes at it. It flashed a dim red light in a sequence, Charlie sighed and straightened himself. He looked around for a second time. He turned to the camera and smirked.
"I'm already getting punished, right Matt?" he chuckled. "Why not add fuel to the fire?" he stepped over the line. He walked over to the back of the room, his heart rate increasing with every step. He took a deep breath and ran his hand along the wall. He felt a slight difference in the texture of the wall at a certain area.
He knocked on it, wood. Every other part of the wall was cemented. He felt along it's perimeter, hoping to find a spot he could slip his fingers through to open it. He failed to find one and tried pushing it instead. He braced himself and pushed with his shoulder all the way to his elbow. It dropped, and with a loud thud.
He looked inside, and noticed it was a makeshift tunnel of sorts. He gulped. "Charlie?" Davin's groggy voice rang in his ears. He jumped and turned around, seeing Davin standing just behind the line.
"What have you done?"
