Kumbhalgarh felt like a place stuck in time

Kumbhalgarh felt like a place stuck in time. People there still lived the way they did years ago.

After a long drive, the car finally stopped in front of a palace. It wasn't as huge as the Rathore palace, but it was still grand.

As they reached the gates, everyone quietly admired the old carvings on the walls. The sound of traditional drums echoed around them, welcoming them in.

Waiting inside was Rishabh's aunt, Devika, along with her family.

She was dressed in a silk saree with some jewellery, standing tall and confident. But the warmth in her smile softened everything.

She came forward and hugged Diya tightly, then placed a hand on Rishabh's shoulder.

"Swagat hai mere pyare bhatije aur uski sundar biwi ka," she said lovingly.
"Welcome, my dear nephew and his beautiful wife."

"Kumbhalgarh is happy to have you both. Everyone is excited about your visit and your wedding."

Rishabh nodded politely. Diya looked around, clearly surprised by how warmly they were being treated.

"Thank you, Bua Ji," Rishabh said. "We really appreciate this welcome."

They were then led inside. The streets were decorated, people smiled and waved, music played softly in the background. Diya stayed quiet, trying to take it all in.

As they entered their room, everything felt big and rich. Diya looked around, feeling a little overwhelmed.

Shruti, who had been walking behind them, silently noticed how different Devika was acting. Softer. More welcoming than usual. And she didn't know what to make of it.
