Serena woke up in Pyro's room alone. He wasn't in bed anymore with her. She rubbed her eyes. She looked at the alarm clock on his nightstand.
"11:00 am!?" She slept in all morning. She got up as she changed into some clothes. She went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. She could hardly remember anything that happened yesterday. She felt the binder on her chest and the bandages on her face.
She sighed, "I hope I wasn't too much of a pain to Antonio." She thought to herself. She found a thermometer under the sink. Her temperature was normal again. She must've slept off her fever.
She walked down the stairs to smell the scent of chocolate. She walked into the kitchen to see Pyro on his phone with a pretty tray of pancakes with chocolate chips and some side dishes and a cup of tea.
"Oh, you're awake." He said, putting his phone down."
She walked in slowly as she looked at the food.
"Did you make this for me?"
"Well, that depends. Are there any other pretty girls in my house?" He asked, grinning.
She chuckled a little as she sat down.
"Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, my temperature is normal again. Thank you for caring for me."
He smiled, "Don't mention it, Princess."
She took a bite of pancakes as they talked to each other.
"You're clingy when you're sick, you know that?"
"Wait, I am?" She looked a little surprised.
He nodded, "You act like a baby. It's funny."
She put her face in her hands, "PLEASE tell me I didn't do anything embarrassing. I can't remember a thing."
He chuckled, deciding not to go into detail, "You were cute. Nothing embarrassing, I promise."
She flushed a little embarrassed as he texted on his phone.
"Oh, by the way. Damion texted me to tell you,'Get well soon'."
She remembered THAT. His name made her throat get heavy and made it hard to breathe.
"Great, that's great." She said with a fake smile. He looked at her weird, but he figured it was just the fact that he's her ex.
"What are you planning to do today?" Pyro said as Serena put one of the pancakes on his plate.
"Spend time with you?" She said, smiling at him. He grinned as he took a bite of his pancakes.
"Sounds like a plan," he smiled as he looked at his plate, "Damn, I make good pancakes."
She chuckled, "They are good! Way better than Giddion's crepes."
He laughed, "Is it the pancakes, or the chocolate?"
She giggled, "Can't it be both?"
The two laughed as they heard a notification on her phone.
"Who is it?" Pyro asked curiously.
Serena looked at her phone.
V: Is our doll free?
S: ...
M: We're nearby if you want to talk~
S: I thought you wanted to meet me at a certain address.
V: We still do, but we aren't busy at the moment, and we would love to see you.~
