Ashley POV
"But I don't want to" I cried in my pillow. "It's mandatory. All drivers are gonna be there. It's a gala and a party. Everybody loves a party" Bella said.
"Great, go party. I can get you a dress for the gala" I cried in the pillow again.
"You think I can pull that off?" she said referring to my body. "That is going around cars 300 miles per hour which I can never do" she added.
"Bella, look at me. Do I look like a person who parties?" I shouted. Theo entered.
"She is not budging, is she?" he asked. "Hey, you are supposed to be on my side" I pointed a finger at him.
"We race and we have to train" I added. Theo put his hands up in surrender. Alex entered my driver's room.
"Hey Ash, coming for breakfast?" He asked. "Yup," I jumped out hurriedly before the other two took the topic of the Gala.
"Alex, Ash is not coming to the Gala," Bella said in a swift tone."What? Why?" Alex now stood firmly to interrogate me. I looked at Bells and she gave me a smirk.
"You are leaving me out. What am I supposed to do there without you?" Alex whined.
"Alex, you have the other 18 dudes with you," I said. "But-"
"No Buts. I'm starving. Let's go for Breakfast" I said and pulled him outside.

I was making my way to the driver briefing. Alex had already gone and I had to go through some data with Ollie.
I made my way towards the conference room when it slowly started to rain. I was looking through my phone when I bumped into someone.
"Oh...Sorry," I apologized, and "You love bumping into me don't you?" He said in his snarky tone.
"Hey! Don't tell me you don't like it when I put pressure on you" I told him. "That, I love. It's just I hate that you put the right amount. That you don't attack but get me to pave you way"
"Well I have a few tricks up my sleeve," I said when it started pouring down. Max had an umbrella which he opened up covering us above.
"You have your tricks but forget an umbrella," he said and it started pouring heavily. He had a heavy hoodie but I went out with only my Williams Tees.
"I just always find a way to embarrass myself in front of you, don't I?" I said and shivered as it was cold.
"You are cold. Come here" he said and put his arm around me and pulled me closer so that I could share the warmth of his body. I rubbed my hands so that I could generate some heat.
"And you don't embarrass yourself. You are one of the best drivers I have ever driven with. And you are second in the championship" he said. "Man you have a way with your words uh," I said as he laughed. We made our way to the front of the conference room. The other drivers were waiting.
Max put down the umbrella as we reached a roof. I rubbed one hand with the other because it was still cold. Lando looked at me with a 'duh' face. When Alex removed his jacket and gave it to me which I put on pretty rapidly.
"God Alex, you are a lifesaver," I said. George and Lewis came to our side. I greeted everyone with a fist bump. Max gave me a nod and made his way towards his teammate Checo.
