Kyle was out with Stan, Kenny, and Cartman, at Stan house drinking. "You're too good for her" Stan said. "She was a skank I saw it coming" cartman will always be cartman. "She will regret leaving you" Kenny spoke up. "Thanks guys I just don't want to think about her" he said sadly drinking looking down in his glass. They all except Eric joined the service too but got out after four years but Kyle decided to stay in due to his higher position. They all drank until they are drunk. As they were getting drunk Kyle began crying "why did she leave me? I just tried to be the best husband and she just leaves. She never loved me". The alcohol unleashed all his pent up emotions. The guys shocked and tried to comfort their lifelong friend. They pat his back and told him they are sorry and it will work out. They drunk until they passed out. Kyle woke at 5 am, feeling hungover and tired despite sleeping he didn't rest. He got his keys and drove home he was sober enough, he also was pretty close. They all still lived close together in their home town. He walked in the house and slept in his own bed.
Almost a year later he was still recovering from his divorce. His parents tried for months to set him up with girls from synagogue but he wasn't interested he went on first dates but he didn't click with them. They were interested in his money and family and status not him as a person. He got up at 5 am and did his morning workout routine even before joining the military he was into fitness and diet especially with his diabetes. After working out his best friend Stan called and he answered "dude what up" "Wendy has a friend she thinks would be good for you". "I don't know Stan" "come on dude you can't obsess over your divorce forever just come over tonight at 6." Kyle sighed "alright dude see you then". Kyle finished his work out and went home to shower he had the day off so he relaxed most of day. He called his parents about this blind date. "You should try it Kyle you never know" she said. "I know mom it's just I don't have luck with relationships, even as a kid". "Dear you have to let the past go" "hey Kyle give it your best shot you have no idea what it could be and even if it fails you move on" his father said. He agreed and hung up from his parents and got ready for the date.
