Kyle was sleeping but I was on my phone I was restless so I just doom scrolled til I felt sleepy. I couldn't get everything off my mind. I never want to hurt or risk Kyle's career or worse his life. My ex husband texted me "your husband attacked me". I texted back "how did you get this number don't text me again and he must have had a good reason. My boyfriend doesn't just attack people". Joseph really thinks he can come back to me, he can't. "Please I need help. I love you I need you." I text back no I'm sorry about your life but I'm not obligated to you anymore. Find peace" I blocked him. Kyle is my priority now, I can't let them suck me in. I felt an arm wrapped around me and Kyle holding me close. " You ok honey" he asked? "I couldn't sleep" I replied. "What has you upset" he asked. "Everything going on, I don't want you in danger. I don't want him hurting you or your career" I said. "He the one that got f**ked up, he can't do anything. You should seen how I pummeled him" he laughed. "I'm still being serious what if he gets a gun or tells your superior and gets you in trouble. I don't want to be the reason you get hurt". I said not realizing I was crying because I can't imagine a life without Kyle. He grabs my face "honey I know you think I'm just being a tough guy and boosting my ego but I really been through worst sh!t. I had bullets and rockets blow past my head, I seen friends and people brutally taken out, and been blown up several times. If he thinks he going to surprise me with a weapon he going to get a rude awakening. He nothing to me" He explained. "I just want to protect you too like you protect me" I said. "You being here protects me, you have no idea how much peace you give to me. Here you get some rest ok" he said as he kissed me. I laid on his chest and tried to doze off. I still couldn't stop thinking about everything. The next morning he woke up and I smelled breakfast cooking. I walked downstairs and he turned around "hey honey you woke up just in time" he said. "You're off today" I asked? " I took the day off, I need to cool off and I want you to feel safe and protected". He sat down the plate of salmon, egg whites and English muffin and black coffee. It wasn't my favorite but I learned to eat it for him. He wanted me to be healthier and I stomach it. "I know it not your favorite but I want you to eat something calm" he said. I ate it fast so I could go back to sleep I was tired and couldn't rest. After I finished I went to lay back down, and Kyle washed the dishes. He came up and laid down next to me and wrapped his arms around me. "You don't have to worry ok? I promise you my moon" he said. "I just this to be over that all" I said. "Here get some sleep, I'm here" he said holding her to sleep.
Joseph POV: I sat up drinking myself to a slump, nothing been the same since I left Kay. I only now realized how much she loves me, and care for me. She was perfect, and I pointed out all her flaws but she was perfect. I'm the one that had flaws, putting up with me and my terrible behavior . I wish she come back, and raise the baby with me. Better yet I wish I could go back in time and be a better husband to her. Haley walks in the room angry "you went to her? Why? You're my husband not hers" she yelled! "This is your fault" he whispered. "What" she said. "This is your fault! You lure me away, you convinced me she did all those things but you are such a liar now I don't believe you! You lost my parents money and took my sister husband, and made my life miserable, you ruined me. You are a witch, a devil I wish I never met you he screamed! "Oh it's just me, you decided to leave her and pursue a relationship with me. Hell not you and your family wasn't nice or liked her before I came along so don't act like you're some victim! You don't love her, so don't speak to her again she argued back! "I want a divorce and full custody" he yelled! She laughed "do you think he is yours? He is not but guess what you signed his birth certificate so you still will owe me money. So go ahead divorce me" she said smugly with a smirk on her face and arched eyebrow. "What did you say" he asked? "You heard me correctly" she said. His anger rose "you evil witch" he yelled, he ran out the house to avoid her. He drove away in his car, to Kay's house. He sped there going 100 mph, he got to her home at 12 am. He bang on her door "Kay come out here now" he yelled. She was standing away from the door half sleep and frightened. He kicked it in breaking the lock. He immediately grabbed her as she tried to run to her room "please come back, the kid not mine we can start over" he said frantically. "You're drunk, leave now" she said. He grabbed her trying to kiss her. "Stop it you're drunk get away from me". " please we can start over leave him. You still love me I know" he said squeezing her arms. "You're hurting me get out" she yelled! She remembered what Kyle taught her. She flipped him on his back, and punched him until he stopped trying to move. He ran out the door crying "You will always be mine, I won't give up" he said as he left. She closed the door and ran to her room crying and calling Kyle. Please answer she thought, "honey are you okay" he asked. "Please can I come over. He came here and broke the door and I.." she couldn't stop crying. "Honey I'm coming to you don't move" he said. Kyle was in full alert and furious. He drove strictly to her house and he pulled up and saw her door broken. It was hanging off the hedges. He ran inside and saw Kay on the floor with bruised arms, crying. "Honey come with me", he picked her up and carried her to his car, buckling her in. They got home and he took her in his bed, cover her up and lay with her "you're safe here, you're moving in with me" he said. They fell asleep and Kay toss and turned all night. Kyle didn't want to go to work. He just wanted to stay with Kay and protect her. He was furious and feeling protective. He saw her bruised arms and rubbed her arms. "I am sorry I wasn't there to protect you" he apologized to her. "It's not your fault, I fought him" she said. "Here I left you some money. Rest and eat until I'm home. I'll put in for an early day ok love" he asked. He kissed her and left, he was furious how could he do this to her. He got to work and fortunately he was approved for an early day. He left at 1 and went to Kay home, now he can see it in the light. The door is damaged, completely broken it will have to be replaced. He decided she moving in with him. Speaking of the devil, he saw a car pull up and guess who stepped out with flowers and gifts.
