Kai has been through quite a lot in his life.
When he was just five years old, he had to take care of his younger sister, Nya and he raised her.
When Nya got kidnapped, Kai became a ninja just to save her.
In his years as a ninja, he "lost" his friends many times.
When Zane sacrificed himself to the Overlord, when Cole fell off the Bounty or when Nya merged with the sea. And so much more.
However, Kai always blames himself when bad things happen.
People called Kai selfish, but he isn't selfish. Just... misunderstood.
Also, Kai never really shows or talks about his real feelings.
He rarely cries in front of people and he also doesn't really like doing that.
He keeps things for himself.
He doesn't want to bother anyone because he knows that his friends have their own problems and struggles.
He tries to help his friends with their problems, he wants to save everyone, but who saves him?
