Sirens.

Sirens were all I could hear.

I don't know if Kai jumped on purpose or if it was an accident.

I really hope it was just an accident.
But deep down, I knew, it wasn't.

The ambulance took Kai to the nearest hospital.

They said he was in a really bad state. And they can't tell if he will survive yet.

All the others were awake as well.

Nya was crying in Jays arms.
Jay was crying as well, but tried to calm Nya down.

Zane went insane and had to turn off his emotions.

Lloyd was crying. He couldn't believe what happened.

Pixal tried to calm down Lloyd, after she made sure that Zane was okay.

Sensei Wu was crying as well.
He couldn't believe what had happened to his student.

And then, there's me.
The one who found Kai.

I couldn't sleep as well. Then I suddenly heard footsteps, I peaked through my door and saw that it was Kai.
I thought that he just went to the bathroom.

But he took longer than usual. So I started to worry and decided to go look.
He wasn't there. Nowhere in the monastery.

So I went to the front door.

I saw a letter on the floor.

I picked it up.

It was Kai's handwriting.

Tears were running down my cheeks as I read.

No... it can't be...

Why didn't he tell me? He could have talked to me... or somebody else...
He could have... gotten help...

No. He can't be gone.

The moment I finished reading, I was sobbing. But as I shut back to reality, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called an ambulance.

It wasn't to late yet, right?

Right?

I ran down the stairs of the monastery. Now that I was running down, I noticed how many there actually were. And how high up the monastery actually is.

No. Kai can't be dead.
He's strong.
He's going to be okay.

I arrived only a little bit later than the ambulance.

I saw Kais body.

Blood all over his face, his chest, his legs, his arms. Everywhere.

So much blood. And dirt.

Dirt from the dirty ground.

They put him on a stretcher.
Gave him an oxygen mask, to help him breath.

And they attached some other things to his body.

A paramedic told me that they were taking him to the hospital right now.
And he had a low chance of surviving. But they were trying everything they could.

And then they drove away.

Sirens. Sirens and lights.

The sirens woke up the others.

They ran outside. They noticed that Kai and I were missing, so they ran down the stairs.

They saw me.

"Cole! What are you doing here? What is going on?" Sensei Wu said.

"And where's Kai?" Nya asked.

I couldn't get out a word.

I handed them the letter.

Zane took it, the others built a semi-circle around him and all read it together.

Tears fell.

"No- ... no- it can't be!" Nya sobbed.

"W-where is he now?" Wu asked.

"I called an ambulance, they took him to the hospital" I said.

"Will he be alright?" Lloyd asked.

"I-... I don't know" I said, and I started crying again.
