The wind rushes past them as gravity drags them towards the bottom of the mountain, fear laced in their eyes as the patch of flowers below rapidly approaches their field of vision.
They closed their eyes, hoping that someone, anyone would save them.
But no one came....atleast that's what they thought before time seemed to freeze around them, the wind now going in the opposite direction as some outside force began dragged them away from the ground, defying gravity as it dropped the human off at the exact moment they fell into Mt.Ebot, before suddenly....
Everything felt wrong.....
Their vision was crowded with error signs as they froze in place, avoiding the fall as everything went blank. Then it started up again, the previous human soul of determination being replaced by two new souls.
They were sent on the same fate as the other human, being pulled down by the overwhelming weight of gravity.
Everything went to fast, they barely had any time to scream before they collectively hit the ground. One landing on the small patch of flowers while the other collapsed ontop of them, the both of them remaining still for a concerning amount of time. This confuses the player as they are suddenly cut off from the world, unable to control the behaviour of these two new characters as the screen goes black.
They are sent into a silent rage as they are unable to regain access to the game, now being forced into being some kind of background character.
Meanwhile, as the player is trying to regain control, one of the souls awakens, getting up and off the other as they begin to look around.
"What the fuck just happend...?" They say, before a look of recognition covers their face.
As they process what just happend they go to shake the other soul, doing so until they begin to groan and move, rolling onto their back before coving their eyes with their right hand, attempting to block out the sun as it mocked them from above.
"Darryl? What..just happend?" They question, looking up at the already awake human.
"Look around, mate, do you not recognise where we are?" Darryl replys, motioning towards their surroundings with a hint of excitement in his voice.
They sit up from their place on the floor, rubbing the back of their neck as they observe their surroundings, the same look of recognition taking over their features.
They turn towards Darryl, their eyes wide in awe.
"Holy shit" they say, before the both of them say loudly.
"WE'RE IN UNDERTALE!!"
...
elsewhere, a confused soul of determination is looking down at the two humans, a ghost, around the same height as them accompanys them, standing at their side.
"Who are those two?" The ghost questions, confusion laced in their transparent features.
The other being shrugs before hovering their hand in the air, summoning a semi-transparent screen labeled "character files".
The two of them search though the files and the masses of code, trying to find something, anything about these two humans. There didn't seem to be anything, until the ghost points out a stray piece of code, clicking on said code lead the two of them to a new screen.
Two character files with pictures were on full display as soon as they clicked on the code. One was named 'Darryl' with a picture of a human male, no age was shown but there was a description, this description held something along the lines of; likes video games, something about procrastination and the fact that he didn't care for his appearance. This file was accompanied by a seemingly matching one, this time it held the picture of what seemed like another human male? But neither of the beings were quite sure, the name didn't help either, 'Morgan'. The description was relatively the same with mentions of games and procrastination, the main difference was the mention of art and autism.
Though, that's not entirely what seemed to catch their eyes, no, what seemed to almost immediately catch their eyes was the clear as day job titles which lied under their names.
The eye catching titles being:
Player 1 and player 2......
