They walk along the river bank, curiously watching the large chunk of ice float steadily along the water. 'Oh, to be a large chunk of ice floating along a steady stream of water' Morgan thought as they passed by multiple fast flowing waterfalls, only being yanked out of her trance by suddenly getting splashed with a handful of water.
While Morgan would have assumed Darryl to be the culprit, she was apparently walking quite slowly compared to him, making him too far ahead to have actually committed the 'crime'.
She decided to ignore it and run after her brother.

They quickly entered another section of the cave, glittering gems in the corners of their eyes as they come across sans behind a station quite identical to the one in the forest.

Morgan immediately goes to shove her face into the nearby echo flower, entertaining herself with the most simplest of things while Darryl moved on to talk to sans.

"What?" Sans started,"haven't you seen a guy with two jobs before?".
"Well -" Darryl was going to express that he had actually seen someone with two jobs before, but Sans decided to cut him off for a reason unknown to Darryl.
"Fortunately, two jobs means twice as many legally-required breaks." Sans says with that same cheeky smile plastered onto his face.

"I dont think that's quite right." Morgans says, having had suddenly appeared by her brother's side, holding a hand to her chin.
Sans just stared at her for a moment before continuing, "I'm going to grillby's. Wanna come?"

As the duo was going to accept his offer, they remembered their last encounter at grillby's.
"Sorry, this short-ass over here isn't of the right age to enter the bar." Darryl replies, jabbing a thumb towards his sister, who had gotten bored during the short conversation and started to stuff her hands into the nearby waterfall.
"No need to worry, I've got a shortcut" Sans says with a playful wink.
Without considering how they literally just got to waterfall, Darryl accepts and grabs his sister, following Sans while dragging her behind him.

As they walk off screen, the area transitions into the inside of grillby's. The duo still following behind Sans as he approaches the bar, attempting to ignore the many stares they received from the surrounding monsters.
Once they finally approached their seats, the crowd started to erupt into loud chattering once again.

Considering how the game went, the duo both inspect their seats before sitting down, choosing to sit on the seats on the right, forcing Sans to sit on the left.
This consequently ended in Sans sitting on one of his own whoopy cushions, the large bag of air letting out an equally as loud 'fart sound'.
The duo found this quite amusing as sans realised that he had pranked himself.
They all have an equally shared chuckled before deciding to order from the bar.

Being asked what they wanted to eat made the duo realise just how little they'd actually eaten during this whole ordeal, Morgan softly clutching her stomach as her body began to catch us with the realisation.

Darryl ordered a burger, and despite her hunger, Morgan ordered fries.
Following this up, sans orders for the three of them, ordering a burger for himself.
While grillby goes behind to bar to prepare their order, sand decides to make small talk.

"So, what do you think of my brother?" He says, taking a comb out of his pocket in order to brush his nonexistent hair.
Before Darryl can even express how he feels, Morgan is sent into a positive frenzy, her voice steadily becoming louder and louder.
"Papyrus? Oh, he is super cool! Have you seen that outfit? Man's got fashion sense! Although he could use some help on design work, that's not a bad thing though-"
this expression of her positively fixating on the character of papyrus goes on for a while, and sans is left with a beed of sweat dripping down his skull. Darryl seems unphased by this behaviour, though.

Eventually, grillby comes out with their food, and Morgan is forced to shut her mouth by a semi-frusted Darryl.
Their plates are placed in front of them, and before sans can even begin to ask if either of them wanted ketchup, they've already begun to dig into their food, slightly concerning sans.

Nevertheless, the three of them consumed their food in relatively comfortable silence, the silence only being broken when sans decided he wanted to tell a random story regarding his brother.
"Anyways, cool or not, you have to agree papyrus tries real hard." He starts, receiving half-assed nods from the duo, whom of which are still eating their food, much slower now.
"Like how he keeps trying to be part of the royal guard." Morgan Eats the fry in her hand and leans against the counter, now listening much more intently.
Sans takes notice of this and continues on, a small smile on his face,"one day, he went to the house of the head of the royal guard and begged her to let him be in it."
Morgan mumbles something relating to being "rude", but sans chooses to ignore it.
"Of course, she shut the door on him because it was midnight." "But the next day, she woke up and saw him waiting there-"

"Escuse me, what?" Morgan interrupts sans, seemingly shocked that papyrus would do something so...unnerving, "why would he do that? That's just borderline creepy."
A beed of sweat rolls down sans' skull as he pulls at his hoodie collar, unsure of how to answer such a question as he never considered that before. After a moment of slightly awkward silence, which was only filled by the sound of other patrons and Darryl eating, sans continues on.
"Seeing his dedication, she decided to give him warrior training." He says, scratching his cheek bone, "its, uh, still a work in progress."
They sit in silence once again, Morgan moving her attention back to her now relatively cold fries. She crys on the inside as she feels forced to finish the plate of food.
...
"Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you something." Sans starts once again, catching the attention of the duo.
Darryl finishes the last bite of his burger and Morgan slowly munches on the last of her fries, the two of them now fully focused on sans.
The calm and relatively cozy atmosphere of the room quickly fades away, like a large shadow had fallen over the entire building.
"Have you ever heard of a talking flower?-" "yes." Darryl interrupts his question, already knowing what he was going to ask.
Morgan gets flashbacks to all the times she faceplanted the floor, trying to grab the bastard flower.

"So you know all about it." Sans starts once again,"the echo flower."
The duo now feel stupid, they both assumed the bag of bones was asking about flowey.
Morgan crys on the outside this time due to embarrassment.

Sans chooses to ignore whatever shit the duo have going on once again, "they're almost over the marsh. Say something to them and they'll repeat it over and over..." He trails off for a moment.
"What about it?" He says, not caring what the duo was going to ask or if they were even going to ask anything.
"Well, papyrus told me something interesting the other day."
"Sometimes, when no one else is around, a flower appears and whispers things to him."
Now the duo definitely know he's referring to flowey.

"Flattery..."
"Advice.."
"Encouragement..."
"Predictions.."

"Weird, huh?"
"Someone must be using an echo flower to play a trick on him." Both humans refuse to hold eye contact with sans, Darryl acting more casual about it than Morgan. It made sans feel suspicious about them....
"Keep and eye out, ok?-" "WILL DO!" Morgan enthusiastically and quickly replys, feeling really awkward immediately after doing so.
"..."
"Thanks." Sans says, staring blankly at them, the atmosphere becoming calm and warm once again, that large looming shadow having had seemingly evaporated in a second, leaving as quickly as it came.

While Morgan seems semi shaken up regarding whatever that was, both Darryl and sans seem unfazed.
Sans steps off his chair, brushing the imaginary dust off of his shorts before saying, "welp, that was a long break."
"I can't believe I let ya pull me away from work for that long." He has a playful smile on his face.
He turns around to face the duo, whom of which are still on their seats, "Oh, by the way..I'm flat broke."
The duo gives him a shared flat, and bored expression.
"Can you foot the bill?"
"It's just 10000G"
The duo is stunned, Morgan more than Darryl, though.
Darryl declines and sans replys,"just kidding." A wink very present on his face.
While Morgan thought about how that wasn't biologically possible, sans called out to the person running the bar.
"Grillby, put it on my tab." He says before strutting out of the bar.

After a while of just sitting there in silence, the duo collectively decide to get up and out of the bar, not wanting to recieve any trouble to being in their without a guardian of some kind.
Morgan opens the door, holding their hand out to 'allow' Darryl to exit first, he smacks their hand away and walks out the door, Morgan doing the same directly afterwards.
