As they walk past the sign, Morgan begin to think before questioning, "Hey, yknow how we're here? And like, not at home or anything like that?"
Darryl gives a nod, signalling for her to continue.
"What do you think is going on with our parents right now? Like, we're basically missing right now, " she says.

This causes Darryl to stop walking, ignoring the monsters staring at them as if they were animals in a zoo. He goes to reply, "That's actually a great question-" but gets cut off instead by Morgan dropping the chest near his feet and running over to the nearby shop, the topic at hand being dropped as quick as it was picked up.

"Shop! Shop! Shop!" She chants, earning confused glances from nearby monsters, granting the two of them even more attention from those around them.
Noticing Morgan leaning on the door of the shop, he acknowledges that she isnt going to take the chest with her. Picking it up and dragging it toward the shop, Darryl peaks inside through the small opening that Morgan left upon walking through the door.
He originally planned on just waiting outside as he had no interest in going into the shop, but his plan was shot down by Morgan rushing outside and attempting to push him inside.
This action, of course, led to Darryl pushing her into the snow, a round of laughs escaping her mouth as she smiled, getting up to attempt to push him inside once more. A few pushes and shoves later, Darryl walks into the shop, dragging the chest behind him with Morgan in tow.
The item scratches across the seemingly handcrafted wooden floors of the building, calming music playing all around them while the entire room is encase with a warm light. It would make Darryl feel at home if this place didn't feel like anything but home.
Morgan runs up to the shopkeeper, holding back from aweing at her appearance so as not to come across as rude while Darryl leans against a nearby wall, the chest resting by his feet.

After Morgan chats with and gets information regarding lore from the bunny shopkeeper, she exits the shop, Darryl dragging the chest behind her.
She quickly realises that she forgot to buy any healing items, but doesn't want to have to go back in there as it would probably damage her barely surviving pride, so she continues on, waving to the monsters around her until they come across what appeared to be a Christmas tree. The decorations felt slightly off, but the 'vibes' were there nevertheless, or at least that's what Morgan said.
Walking around the Christmas tree to avoid social interaction, Morgan notices a monster that looks similar to a dinosaur. This was a monster whom she recognised to be 'monster kid'.

Leaving Darryl to look like a grumpy teen in a hello kitty store, Morgan approaches the kid. She doesn't even get to get a word of greeting in before the kid begins to speak, although Morgan didn't catch alot of it due to her zoning out on behalf of her finally noticing how adorable monster kid truly is. Missing Darryl yelling for her to stop talking so that they could continue, Morgan opens her arms wide and hugs monster kid tight, like how a mother would hug her child.
Monster kid, having no arms, cannot properly return the hug, but instead opts for leaning his head against his new friend while rambling about how he recognises that they aren't a child because they aren't wearing a stripped sweater. Morgan continues to ignore her surroundings even as Darryl approaches the two of them, annoyed by the way Morgan is acting.

He drops the chest next to him and attempt to get morgans attention, snapping his fingers infront of her face, making funny references to make her laugh, making fun of her to get a response, but nothing happend. So, he looked at Monster Kid and took the initiative, grabbing hold of both of morgan's arms and attempting to pull her away from the child. This finally gets her to react, and she gives monster kid one last squeeze before letting go.
The amount of force Darryl was using to pull her off of monster kid didn't go away, though.
Instead, it threw morgan into the snow as soon as she let go. Darryl nodded at Monster Kid before moving to pick up the chest that he had placed nearby, Morgan letting out a muffled "not again" as he does this.
