A little while after toriel's departure, the two humans decide to make a move, walking into the next room before a loud ringing noise irrupts from the phone gifted to them by toriel.
While Darryl is answering the phone, Morgan wanders into a branched off room connected to the one they are currently in. They enter a small room, spiderwebs decorate the walls and a medium bowl of unlabeled sweets sits upon a small, white table.
Upon further inspection, Morgan notices a sign attached to the bowl. "Take one".
Despite the lack of supervision, Morgan obeys and takes one piece of monster candy.
They exit the small room just after Darryl had finished his call with the goat mom and the both of them continue down the path, Morgan walking to the side of it while kicking about the piles of leaves.
As they continue to walk, Morgan encounters a froggit and they are sent into a battle.
The battle is short lived as all they did was; make jokes, comment about how they "saw him in their house once" and spared him.
They were awarded nothing and continued on.Upon walking into and halfway through the next room, the two of them fall through the floor, landing on another patch of leaves in the room below before exiting said room, returning at the end of the one above.
Once again, as they enter the next room, toriel calls them and Darryl answers while Morgan does something in the 'background'.
While Darryl answers toriel's question of butterscotch or cinnamon, Morgan begins to push a rock onto a button.
She is so weak compared to the rock that it takes this call and the next for her to fully push it onto said button.
During this test of strength, Darryl answers another call from toriel, answering her question about allergies with "unless you have any dogs in your house, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be fine" before ending the call, entering another battle as he does.
Once again, the battle is short lived and they are left with nothing as a reward.Upon entering the next room, they find a fall-through-the-floor based puzzle.
I won't go into masses amount of detail, but I will say that they and their egos are both lightly bruised from the amount of times that they fell through the floor. After that, they find another rock and button room. Morgan can't be bothered and Darryl is left to push the rocks himself, pushing the one at left onto the button and nearly the one in the middle before Once again entering a battle. They finish it quickly and the rock is pushed onto the button, Morgan finally decides to do something and attempts to push the last rock, but finds that they can't due the rock being alive.
They make a comment about how "why are sometimes rocks, rocks but sometimes rocks are not rocks?" Before trying to ask the rock to move onto the button.
It took alot of willpower and patience, but eventually the rock was moved onto the button and it stayed there long enough for the two souls to enter the next room.Upon entering the next room along, they come across a plate with a single piece of cheese seated ontop of a wooden table.
Despite knowing the dialogue for the game, Morgan decides to break a large piece of cheese off, placing it infront of the mouse house before taking the other piece and eating it.Once again entering the next room, they come across a friendly looking ghost fella laying on the ground repeatedly saying "z" while wondering when they would go away.
As Darryl and Morgan question why they can't just walk through him, they enter a fight with him and are greeted by the name "nabstablook".
They stay in the battle for longer than usual, mainly because Morgan wanted to see more of his cool tear-based tricks, but eventually the battle ends, leaving them with nothing in return. They walk through another corridor and come across a ground of webs with a sign, "put 5g in the web".
After Darryl tells Morgan that they don't have any gold to put in the Web, they leave and enter the next room across.
While Darryl reads the sign infront of him, Morgan searches the room for a monster to fight, hoping that they would get some gold this time.
