It was a normal day like always in the forest. The birds sang, the trees danced with the breeze, and the flowers bloom.
"C'mon now!"
Or.. It was.
"What are you mad about this time?" The bat spoke. The other male; an elf, looked at him to reply. "We're out of eggs." said the elf, sighing before grabbing his crochet bag. "I'm heading to the village, let Kai know would ya? Be back!" And he's gone. The bat sighed before flying into another room, most likely Kai's.
Choi Beomgyu the mushroom elf, very well known within the village leading to the forest. Everyone loves him, for his energy as well as his kindness. Elves and humans used to have some rivalry, but that has changed long ago and now are allies. The humans accept elves and are happy to see them, so are the elves of course but humans don't visit elves like that.
"Hi Beomgyu!" "Hey gyu!" "Nice to see you again!"
"Hihi everyone!" Beomgyu sang, skipping though the village in delight. Though he didn't plan on going out, he's still happy to at least be there. He happily skipped to the place he needed to go, entering and greeting the shop owner before grabbing what he needed (and maybe a snack or two). He payed for the items before leaving and bidding the owner goodbye, as he then continued on. Maybe one more stop wouldn't hurt!
"Hi Mrs. Finn!" Beomgyu greeted the shop owner. He was a regular for the Finns' as he would visit daily. "Oh hi there sonny, what would you like this time hm?" She replied with delight as she made her way to the front. "I'm going for the cinnamon buns today!" The shop is a bakery, hence to why he'd visit often. "Alrighty! give me a minute to grab them hm?" "Of course!" He looked around the familiar place, enjoying the fresh smell of fresh baked goods as he waited. "Alright here you are son." She came back with the buns and a smile on her face, "Ah thank you Mrs. Finn!" the elf bowed. "Oh you are welcome, remember you're free to come on by anytime." He bid her farewell before leaving the bakery.
He then left the village, happily skipping back to the forest and to his cabin.
"I'm back! Did ya miss me!-" Beomgyu opened the door, only to be greeted with a fight. Kang Taehyun the vampire, and Heuning Kamal Kai the angel, fighting over a game. "Huh?- OH BEOMGYU!!" Kai yelled as he ran to hug the older. "Hi Kai, what's going on here?" He said looking at the younger, before being met with a pout. "He's upset that I beat him in Mario Kart." Taehyun said, laughing at the others' dumb act. "YOU CLEARLY CHEATED!!" "Did not." The two kept bickering and Beomgyu just walked to the kitchen, not bothering to care about the whole thing.
As he was putting the stuff away, he heard a twinkle that sounded like a bell. He turned to be met with a ball of light. "Hi Soobin." The elf smiled at the light, watching as it flew around. Choi Soobin the fairy, often seen as a ball of light unless you look closely. He turned into his human form, watching Beomgyu pack snacks away. "Wanna head to the beach later? Maybe fishing?" The fae asked, and smiled when Beomgyu turned to him in excitement. "OH YES! We can even collect sea shells and see tiny crabs!" He sang, making the bickering couple turn in confusion.
"Huh?-" "BEACH?!?!" Kai screamed, making Taehyun wince at the sudden sound. "Yeah, was thinking about it, it is nice outside and I thought it would be a great idea." Soobin said in his calm state, watching the angel and elf dance around in excitement. Taehyun and Soobin laughed at the two dancing around.

Later that evening the 4 headed to the beach, with fishing rods and a basket for shells. "Woo! Man it's nice out." Kai said, setting up a blanket onto the sand before lying right on it. "I told you." Soobin smiled, before helping Beomgyu set up the small boat they had.
Everything was going great, Beomgyu hopped into the boat with Soobin, as Taehyun and Heuning walked along the shore looking for little critters and shells. Though as Beomgyu started fishing...
"Hey uhm, what's that over there?" He pointed to a rock, a bit further from where they were. "A rock..?" The fairy replied, back in his fairy form sitting on Beomgyu's shoulder.
"Yeah but.. Seems like something is on it or at least near it.." The elf squinted his eyes to get a good look, but the sun in the horizon didn't help considering it was setting within the direction of said rock. "I can fly closer to get a good look.. One sec." Soobin flew a bit closer, only to be met with a shadow of what seemed to be a person.
"Hey! You guys good?!" Kai yelled, placing a shell into the basket he was holding as Taehyun sat on his shoulder. "There seems to be something a bit further out! Soobin is just checking!" Beomgyu yelled back, reeling in the string of the rod and putting it to the side. "Alright! Be careful!" "Will do!"
Soobin flew in a bit closer, squinting to get a good glimpse of the figure. Though just as he was about to get closer, the figure moved. "Uhm...Hello?" He called out, no response though. He turned when he heard Beomgyu call out to him, "What is it?!" As he was about to respond however a faint splash on water was heard. There was no waves so it made Soobin turn back, only to be met with a pair of glowing teal eyes.
"Head back!" He yelled before flying back to Beomgyu, who has already started steering the boat to the shore. Once they made it back they sat on the blanket Kai has placed, clearly terrified. "GUYS! What happened?!" Kai and Taehyun came back from where they were, clearly worried and confused. "Yeah.. Soobin what was it?" The elf turned to the fairy who was back in his human state, still staring at the rock. "A siren... They're dangerous, we don't wanna get to close.." He finally responded. "A siren? What's one doing over here?" Taehyun asked, flying to the fae's shoulder and turning to the direction they saw the creature. "Beats me.. But whatever it wants it's definitely looking for it." He answered.
"Lets head back hm? Don't wanna end up dead now" The angel said with a giggle, indicating that he's basically dead anyway. "Yeah.. Lets go." Beomgyu said grabbing his fishing rod as the others quickly cleaned up before heading back to the cabin. What even was a siren doing here anyways? They are never in this area.

As they left, the siren stayed. Watching them leave back into the forest. He thought to himself that he has scared them away, not even getting to say 'Hi'. Oh well, there's always a next time. And just like that he swam away.
