A fresh morning breeze can be felt as the elf skipped towards the village. He hasn't been able to just visit and enjoy the village in a little while, but today was the day! Soobin decided to sleep in all day, as well as Taehyun. Heuning had to go back up as he was called by a few archangels and cherubs for some help, and Yeonjun had to go back under as for now. So here he was, skipping his way to the village.
Beomgyu made his way into the village, greeting everyone as soon as he entered. He happily skipped until-
"Hi Beomgyu!" Nicole..
Beomgyu stopped in his tracks to turn to her, "Oh hi Nicole."
"What ya doin'?" Nicole asked the elf, who just shrugged in response.
"Just visiting, nothing more."
"Oh.. Say why don't we hang out-"
"BEOMGYU!"
The two turned to the voice, it was Ashley.
"Hey Ashley," The elf waved at the other who just smiled as she ran towards them. Nicole glared at Ashley, who was she to Beomgyu?
"Glad to see you again, and uh- you are?"
"Nicole, I'm Nicole. How do you know Beomgyu?" Damn straight to the point.
"Hm?- Oh he and a few of his friends helped me out a while ago, no big deal." She smiled at the other, who just seems mad.
"Well- I knew him first." Nicole spat out, causing the elf to pinch the bridge of his nose in disbelief.
"Okay..? What does that have to do with anything?-"
"Nicole don't do this right now please." Beomgyu turned to the blonde, she just huffed and looked away. Ashley stood there confused while Beomgyu sighed at Nicole's behavior. She was always like this, jealous for no reason. It was obvious she liked the elf, though clear signs from him had shown he had no interest. In fact Beomgyu doesn't know why she still even tries.
"Anyways, how are you Ashley?" Beomgyu turned to her, awaiting her response.
"Oh I'm good! Glad to see you as well!" She hugged the elf, who hugged back.
"Okay okay, you guys can stop that now." No one asked Nicole.
"Nicole, please." Beomgyu sighed once more.
"I'm gonna go do something real quick, you two can stay here. Or don't, be back." Beomgyu ran into his favorite bakery. The two girls stood there for a second before turning to each other.
Silence
"So uh... What's your relationship with 'Gyu?" Ashley was the first to speak up, asking the blonde.
"Well... I like him. Though I think he's playing hard to get." Nicole was twirling a strand of her hair now, slightly blushing at the thought.
"Or maybe he just doesn't have interest in you?" Ashley said, making Nicole freeze on the spot.
"And how do you know?!"
"It's kinda obvious..."
...
"Oh." Nicole stood still, now looking down with a depressed look. Ashley sighed before moving closer to the other. All she did was pat her back, smiling at the other.
"It's alright, surely there's others who'd like you." Her smile getting bigger, making her dimples show. Nicole let out a sigh along with a "You're right."
She smiled at Ashley, now looking at her. Nicole started admiring her; her dimples, her soft black curls, her eyes, and-
