You looked back to Ren who was playing something on his Computer (Genshin)

Ren:" Yep. Congrats, you just whitnessed the familyline from Cain!"

"...was that nececarry to know?"

Ren:" Mhhh, yeah kinda, and trust me, there are WAY more backstories you'll get to know. And you can basically do nothing against it, you'll hear about them sooner or later"

"...oookayy..!?"

You dared to step out of the door-

Vince:" There she is! How was the makeout? I didnt hear you two!"

-and you regretted it.

"You know what? Fuck you."

Vince:" Hey. Watch your tounge."

Something about his tone told you that he was serious.

" I'm just- gonna get a glass of water."

You walked into the kitchen and poured yourself a glass of water.

As you drank, you looked over Sano and Damien, who were both still standing there. The only difference between then right now was that Damien looked more angry than Sano. Sano just seem...stressed..? He had his arms crossed infront of his chest, and nervously tapped his arm with his fingers, and it seemed that he was breathing a bit faster. Something told you that you had to know what was going on. But not now. Not right after the fight.

Damien sighted annoyed.

Damien:" Ugh that son of a bitch."

He walked past Sano, and layed his hand on Sanos arm.

Damien:" Are you alright?"

Sano:" Hm what? Oh yeah. Im fine."

'Obviously not.'

You thought.

As soon as you wanted to walk up to him and ask what's wrong, he left. Dissapeared into his room.

'Mabey its for the best now...'

You told yourself to shut your curiousity. At least a bit.

Nighttime came, and your curiousity didnt want to let you sleep, but you didnt want to break his personal space aswell.

9 p.m.

12 p.m.

1 a.m

"Naw fuck."

You thought out loud. You couldnt sleep.

"But i cannot wake him up. Thats like- thats- no. I cant just-"

You jumped up off your bed, and made your way to Sano's bedroom door. You knocked two times.

No response.

"...ok he's asleep."

You thought out loud again. As you wanted to step away, you heard something, that made you immeaditly stop your walk. It was some sort of...roar?

'What in the...'
You didnt dare to think out loud now. You were too scared to even make a noise.

You carefully looked for the lightswitch. You turned it on.

You looked around yourself.

Suddenly, you notice a metal door.

" since when the fuck..."

You never noticed that door.

'Mabey i shouldnt-'

You did it anyway.

You carefully opened the door, and all you could see was a corridor. It looked like a corridor in a hospital. You carefully walked down that corridor, until you heard that roar again, which was now way louder than before. You pressed your hands against your ears, to dim the volume of the sound. At the end of the roar, you heard someone say:" Its ok, Shaun. Soon. They wont survive this anyways..."

'...SANO??'
you thought.

'And who the fuck is -shaun-?'

You kept walking. At the end of the corridor, you peeked inside the room, where you saw Sano standing next to a person...chained to a table..??

'What in the world...'
You thought. There was so much going through your mind right now.

And suddenly-

The person noticed you. But they didnt scream or anything.

'Are they poisoned?'

But the thing you didnt notice-
The thing.
The thing that May have caused the roar.

It was looking right at you.
You noticed it aswell, but didnt dare to say anything.
Frozened of fear, you just stood there.
Shaun looking directly at you.

Sano:" Ah would you look at that. They're dead. See? Told you they wouldnt survive thi- Shaun? What are you looking a- MC??"

'Shit.'

Shaun seemed to see Sanos yell as a command to attack. He ran straight up to you.
You runned back the corridor as fast as you could, slammed the door open, and locked it as soon as you were out.

You were breathing rapidly and let yourself slowly fall on your knees, standing some metres away from the door, still looking at it.
