Shadow marched into the med bay where an unprepared Rouge and newly returned Espio looked over at him, confused.

"Time to go," the hedgehog ordered.

The bat looked at him with a surprised and confused expression. "Go where?"

"I'll tell you on the way. Can you fly one of those jets?" Shadow asked, getting to the how rather than the why.

Espio raised his hand. "I can..."

Shadow looked at Espio suspiciously until Rouge gave him a nod, signaling he was back to normal and on their side.

"You got a suit?"

"Yeah."

"Then suit up."

Knuckles looked around before getting a running start, gliding off into the horizon.

Shadow was seen grabbing multiple guns off a rack before grabbing some ammo and loading them with a click.

Tails quickly picked up his Miles Electric off of a nearby table fire grabbing a few more helpful gadgets.

Rouge slipped on her best boots, applying a fresh coat of lipstick as well with a smirk.

Espio grabbed his weapons, loading up on kunais and ninja stars.

Amy whipped out her hammer, extending the handle and swinging it around confidently.

The group of heroes walked up to the Tornado, but a G.U.N. soldier stood in their way.

"You are not authorized to be here."

Shadow gave a dark glare, his finger grazing one of the guns he held. "Just don't."

The young pilots eyes widened in fear as he nervously stepped aside before bolting away.

"Should we worry about him?" Amy questioned.

"I wouldn't bother."

Agent Blaze was done sulking in her room as she slipped on her gloves, fueled by determination to fulfill what Silver wanted.

The cat made her way out to the bridge of the ship where she found Vector at one of the windows, contemplating.

She cleared her throat. "Sir."

"Agent Blaze? How are you doing-"

"I'm fine....you know he could've survived. He was strong-"

"I know. But they got a push from it. And I can tell you did too," the croc said, glancing back at her.

"You know how messed up that is, even if I hate to admit you're right," Blaze said, her voice softening towards the end of it.

A loud noise outside caught their attention. They looked outside to see the Tornado taking off.

Vector smirked. "They found it. Get our communications back up, whatever you have to do. I want eyes on everything. And Blaze..?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Go kick some robo butt afterwards."

Blaze smirked matched his. "Yes sir."

Tails arrived back at his tower where on the roof, where Wave was working in a device that held the emerald. "Shut it down please, Doctor."

"It's too late!" The swallow exclaimed. "It can't stop now. He wants to show us something! A new universe..." She said, sounding a bit crazy in the head.

"Okay," Tails sighed. Quickly, he used one of his blaster-like devices to shoot the machine, causing it to crack and Wave to fall back. From down below, citizens of the city looked up at the tower.

Omegas voice chimed in through Tails' communicator. "The barrier is pure energy. It's unbreachable."

"Keep working on it Omega, we're on the clock," the Fox ordered, landing outside the penthouse, throwing on his goggles and walking in to see Starline, smiling at him.

Tails walked over to the fridge, keeping a suspicious eye on the platypus and the glove he held.

"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity," Starline chuckled.

"Uh...actually, I'm planning to threaten you...to the best of my ability," the fox said, trying to keep a confident appearance. "Juice?" He offered with a small smile, holding a cup of orange juice out.

"Stalling me won't change anything," Starline scoffed.

Tails shook his head. "No, no, no! Threatening. No juice? You sure? I'm having some." He tried to use tactics that he'd seen Sonic use plenty times before, it seemed to work so far.

"There's an army of badniks coming, nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" The platypus asked with a smug smile.

"The Heroes," Tails responded, getting a confused look from Starline. "It's what we call ourselves, sort of like a team. 'Mobius' mightiest heroes' type of thing," he explained.

Starline looked annoyed, tired of this toying around banter. "Yes, I've met them."

Tails nodded with a smile. "Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But, let's do a head count here. The echidna, you know him well; an Ultimate Life Form, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend; a man with breath-taking anger management issues; a couple of master assassins, a fiery fierce princess and you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."

"That was the plan."

"Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you," the fox warned.

"I have an army."

"We have a Werehog."

Starline tilted his head. "I thought the beast had wandered off."

"You're missing the point. There's no throne, there is no version of this, where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect Mobius, you can be darn well sure we'll avenge it." Tails started to think that maybe he'd payed too close attention to Sonic's past speeches.

Starline walked closer with a grin, slowly easing his hand. The platypus towered over the kid, but Tails showed no sign of backing down. "How will your friends have time for me, when they're so busy fighting you?"

Starline attempted to hypnotize the fox, but to no avail. Confusion soon hit him. Why wasn't it working? He tried again, still no success.

"It should work-"

Tails smirked, gesturing to his glasses. "Well, performance issues, you know? Not uncommon. One out of five-"

Starline cut off the fox's sky response as he grabbed the kid and threw him across the room in frustration. He marched over and picked him up again. "Don't think I'll go easy on you because you're a measly child. You will all fall before me!"

Starline threw the kid out of his own tower through an open window, watching the fox fall.

Tails tumbled around in the air a bit before steadying himself, as he used his Tails to fly back up. Starline looked out at the fox, frustrated that he had forgotten the kid could fly.

Tails frowned, aiming one of his devices at the platypus. "And there's one other person you pissed off! His name was Silver." Tails blasted him back before Starline could lift as much as a finger.

Outside the tower, Wave glanced up at the sky as the Master Emeralds energy shot up, creating a beam that opened a portal, one that showed the vast area of space.

Robots started spilling out of the sky, some falling and landing on the streets while others terrorized the sky.

Tails looked up, alerted by the sound as he sighed. "Right. Robot army..." he muttered, he flew off, attempting to shoot down some robots that flew out of the portal.

But the few amount of blasts were futile as the metallic monsters descended from the sky, down into the city below.
