~Location - Jake's locker~

~Time: Breaktime/Free period~

Jake's POV:

I just got into school and everything is already going horribly. I don't even know if the others believe Olivia over me anymore. I mean if they do, that would be pretty stupid and suspicious. I mean they only met Olivia around 3 days ago and she came around so randomly but the club has been gaining some popularity from the competition that it would kind of make sense. But when it involves her, nothing ever makes sense.

Everyone keeps on staring at me. Well you know what they say, history repeats itself but no one says that. Classes have been awkward too with all the rumors flying everywhere too and I don't know if Sean and Hailey know yet which makes my anxiety go faster than Usain Bolt running that 100m sprint.

Anyways that's not the problem right now. What is the problem though is Olivia. She walked past me during 1st period and pushed me into a locker before walking away and laughing. The nerve of this lady?! But I just saw Hailey run past me and WOAH I JUST SAW HAILEY WALK PAST ME CRYING?! I should probably go check on her...

3rd Person POV:

Jake quickly shut his locker and ran after Hailey. But that was a huge mistake because someone was observing closely and that someone just obtained more things to make Jake's life WORSE.

He ended up finding her in the part of school where no one goes. Little sniffles could be heard which made Jake more worried.

"Hails?" He said, walking over and sitting beside the teal-haired girl sitting on the grass, who slowly raised her head from her knees. Noticing who was sitting beside her, she quickly rubbed the tears from her cheeks and eyes and looked up.

"I'm fine. Its okay. I don't want to bring my problems onto you or the others, even though everyone probably knows.. b-by now" she sniffled before tears started to well up in her eyes again.

"It's honestly ok Hailey, you can tell me anything! We're friends.. after all." He looked at her trying to reassure her.

"Well someone.. Spread these rumors about my stage f-fright a-and.. how I did horrible in the concert and-" She sniffled.

"Sorry. I'm just being sensitive at this point I know I shouldn't be offended by my stage fright anymore it just brings back.. bad memories if you know what I mean."

Jake held Hailey's hand and looked at her, making her flinch a little.

"Hey. Don't listen to them! You did awesome and we both know it." He said calmly. She let go of his hand and wiped her face. They both got up and looked to the side awkwardly before Hailey sighed and looked at him again.

"Thanks Jake. That was kinda stupid of me to cry about something like that-"

"I know like you should have more confidence in yourself Hails! Those people probably don't sound as good as we do and are probably jealous." Jake winked which made Hailey laugh a little.

"You kinda sound like my dad now" She giggled.
"I guess we both just have amazing taste in words" He responded before walking away and sitting on a bench gesturing Hailey to follow.

"So uh-" She said, sitting down on the bench beside him.

"Me and Sean had to miss morning rehearsal because we had to grab a few things for today."

"So that's why I couldn't find you guys anywhere..." He said scratching his neck. "Oh! That reminds me.. I need to tell you about something and it's urgent. Have you checked your socials yet?" He hesitantly asked her.
