Chapter 8|Deeper into the Mess

~Time - After School~

~Location - Jake's house~

"We need a plan. And fast." 

All of them were in Jake's house, thinking of something that could help them with their knotted situation. So far all of their ideas had been bust so now they were just sitting in a awkward silence which is really unlikely. Especially for them.

"Well maybe we could spread rumors ab-" Milly suggested before receiving mixed stares which displayed a clear answer. 

"No."

"Look we can't do that for the 100th time Milly! We aren't doing that." Hailey sighed crossing her arms, looking towards a tired and defeated redhead who started to pout.

"Well what else are we going to do? We've been sitting here for Rosy knows how long and we haven't come up with shat!" She groaned flopping onto Jake's messily laid bed.

"She isn't wrong. Might aswell do it-" Jake said, laying back against his bed rails.

"NO."

"Well... any other suggestions?" Luke asked the group while looking around the blonde teen's trashed up room.

"Jake you should really clean this place up.." The teal-haired girl sighed, chucking a red sock and flicking it at his face which made Milly cackle as he pulled a face.

"Well..." He started removing the sock from his face and throwing at Milly, who started screaming and dramatically toppled off the bed, onto the floor.

"OH! I have a idea! She has a brother. Maybe we could ask him..?" Jake mentioned smirking at his awesome idea.

Silence.

"Although I'm not sure if that would be much help-" He hastily added on after they hadn't talked for around a minute.

"No.. That's a great idea Jake! We can ask him about it!" She responded back, smiling at him, which so happened to make him blush just slightly..

"WAIT!" Zander interrupted looking at the two of them.

"Are you all stupid? We don't know if he's helping her? Or where he even is!" 

"Well its the only choice we really have Zander..." Sean answered reminding him that they literally have no other options.

"Fine. I guess its a really dumb, but okay plan." He responded shrugging while also rolling his eyes.

"What do you guys think!" Hailey asked Luke and Milly.

"I think it'd a great idea! We would be like international super spy's! So koolio!" The redhead responded sitting up from the bed, her eyes shining with interest.

Not quite sure why she was so excited since they were in literal hot water, but it's Milly so in these situations, she's like that.

"I guess the idea is okay"  Luke nodded before putting his head into Zander's shoulders.

"Well Jake! You just leave it to us!" Hailey smiled weakly, hoping it would reassure him. Just a bit.

"Thanks guys.." He smiled before scratching his head again, clearly bothered.

"Jake.. I know your scared that this could end up horribly but-" Sean started before looking over at him.

"Its not that.. its just that..." The blonde haired boy stuttered holding his arm awkwardly. 

"She wasn't like that before.."

"Jake. What are we gonna do with that info? Throw pity onto her when she literally got you nearly expelled?" Zander stated looking towards him.
