Chapter 9||Guess who's back? Back again...

~Time - After School~

~Location - Music Club Room~

"So what happened?" Luke asked Hailey, grabbing a chair and sitting at the table the group were all sat round.

"Well. I saw.. Well not exactly saw.." She began

"I heard Olivia and someone talking in the hallway on my way to class so I went to investigate.. to see if we could get any leads." 

"Then what? Make sure you explain ALL the deats!" Milly said interrupting her and hastily writing every sentence she said.

It seemed Milly was really invested into this stuff. The only time she found writing notes enjoyable to say the least.

"I was going to but anyways. They were talking about someone keeping their mouth shut. And the girl Olivia was working with might've been blackmailing her in a way." 

"Is that it?" Zander asked her. 

"Yea that's all I got."

"At this rate we are never going to get her kicked out."  Zander sighed.

"But." He added.

"I have a idea. That person could've been that boy that was in the gardens at Lunch. it would make sense."

"That's a great idea Zander! This could help us.." Hailey smiled as Milly mumbled.

"The only time he's been helpful..."

"Excuse me! I'm always helpful. You're the one who doesn't listen and ALWAYS gets into fights!" Zander scoffed, glaring at her as she did the same back.

"Whatever 'Your Highness' You must be right!" Milly sarcastically said to him.

"SHUT IT." He pointed at her scowling and looking to the side.

"GUYS!" Hailey shouted at them, which got them to stop bickering.

"We don't have time for this! Stop fighting." 

"He STARTED IT!" Milly pointed towards him, gritting her teeth as he stuck his tongue out at her and rolled his eyes.

"At this rate we aren't going to get anywhere because of you guys. Stop it and listen to Hailey." Sean sighed, passing Milly a lollipop hoping it would calm her down.

"Ooo! Thanks Sean!" She said happily removing the wrapper and tossing it on the floor.

"What a litterer..." Zander muttered under his breath.

"Anyways we need to try asking him again. We have more info! Maybe he might help us if we tell him more about it!" Hailey said slapping her fist into her palm.

"And what if that also backfires? Like it did a few hours ago." Zander said.

"Most likely that's going to happen again. No point." He said clearly annoyed how they keep coming back to this boy.

"Well then we will just wait until Jake is comfortable with telling us what happened. Things don't happen overnight Zander. We have to be patient." She responded, starting to get bothered with his lack of motivation.

"But who knows how long that will take us Hailey! We just got out of a massive fallout with him!" The purple haired boy noted, reminding her of what occurred a few weeks prior to their new problem. 

"Not to mention we might trust him, but what about how he feels about us?" Sean added on.

"We just have to try. Or we aren't going to get anywhere anyways so we might aswell." She sighed.
