Nagisa yawned as the class ended. Today was the day. The tentacles shall leave Kayano's body.
Over the last two days, the group had discussed in great detail how this would work. Koko was currently waiting in a storage shed, having snuck in earlier in the day when Koro-sensei was distracted (a distraction delivered by Keiji).
After class ended, they would leave and go to the shed, where Nagisa would restrain her and Koko would do the surgery. Despite Nagisa, Esumi and Keiji's recommendation, Kayano refused to let Keiji into her mind.
This meant the surgery was likely going to be painful, hence the need for the restraints. Also, due to this, Keiji was on the look out to delay and turn teachers away should they notice something was strange, with one exception.
If things turned for the worse, he was allowed to let Koro-sensei pass and only Koro-sensei. Kayano did not know about this agreement, but she didn't need to know.
Nagisa got up, going to Kayano's desk. "It's time."
She nodded, standing and walking with Nagisa. Neither noticed Koro-sensei watching them and following them.
Keiji sighed, about to do his boring job, when Karma smirked, placing an arm on his shoulder. "I wonder what they're doing. If Nagisa hadn't had such a negative reaction to girls, I would be worried."
Keiji laughed, resisting the urge to tell Karma what they were doing. "I don't think we have anything to worry about."
Karma's eyes gleamed in intrigue. "That so? So you know what they're doing?" He leaned closer as Keiji stopped functioning. He couldn't even comprehend that something was wrong until he heard Nagisa scream for him.

Kayano opened the shed, slowly walking inside as Nagisa frowned. Koko should be here. Closing his eyes, he was about to call out to Keiji when a familiar voice echoed from behind. "My my, what do we have here?" Koro-sensei peeked his head inside as he looked over the two.
Something was off.
"I wonder what you two are doing in here? Maybe planning a new assassination attempt?" Koro-sensei sounded too happy about that as Kayano laughed.
"Nothing like that. I simply made a bit of a mess and asked Nagisa to give me a hand." Kayano stepped to the side, revealing the beads all over the floor.
"Oh, I'll help out as well." Koro-sensei stepped inside as Kayano hummed.
Nagisa gave her a strange look. Was she expecting to need a cover and planted the beads in case, or did she see them and make up the lie. Either way, this was getting weird.
And Koko was still not here.
Koro-sensei sniffed the air, a strange look in his eyes.
"Is something wrong? I think some got in between the furniture, so we could be here a while.
Koro-sensei smiled. "I know. Quite a bit of it is broken, so I won't use my mach speed." He didn't say what was on his mind. He smelt something. Something that didn't belong.
Nagisa swept behind the box, his eyes catching something as he let out a startled sound. "Koko!"
Koko was unconscious, blood dribbling from her head. Koro-sensei turned, but it was too late. The ground was broken beneath him, and he was falling.
Nagisa stared in horror as a single thought passed through his brain. That was not the tentacle experiment.
From Kayano's neck, a large mass bulge thumping every so often. It had two large wings spreading out from it, looking a little like pterodactyl wings with metal tip-like claws on the end.
