"Kleio, are you okay!? What happened!? Did you have a bad dream??" Kayde said, noticing my panicked state, and rushing over to kneel at my bedside, so we're face to face.

I don't even know what to say, and he recognizes this.

"Hey, its okay, we dont have to talk about it. Come here." He sympathizes, as he pulls me into a gentle hug. I was genuinely stunned at his kind gesture, as Ares himself scoffed at feelings such as sympathy.

"Oh my gods are you alright?" Clarisse says, entering the cabin

"Im ok. I just had-sniff-a bad dream. It's okay though." I say, holding onto the back of Kayde's tshirt, as Clarisse sat next to me on my bed, rubbing my back

"Shit, dude i'm sorry. I had a nightmare my first night here too. I know how it is." Dean said, sitting on the other side of my bed and also rubbing my back gently

"Thank you guys." I say, feeling very embarrassed

"Hey, dont even thank us. This is what camp is all about. We're here for eachother." Jax said, walking over

"Good news, the Satyrs helped get your cabin finished this morning! Literally just came and told us an hour or two ago." Dean said

"Oh, thats nice." I said, wiping my tears away and putting my glasses on

"Yeah, its fucking massive dude. Like i'm talking two stories." Jax said, eating a banana

"Whoah, really? I guess it looked big from the outside but damn." I say, finally fully waking up and calming down

"Yeah, it's crazy. Anyway, breakfast starts in like 30 minutes so get dressed, barbie." Cody said, heading out the door

"Oh, shoot he's right." Dean said, scrambling to get up, and rushing out the door

"Hes just worried to be late cuz he's supposed to meet Drew for breakfast.' Clarisse whispered in my ear as she got up

We both giggled, until I realized I had no idea who Drew was

"Wait who's Drew?"

We both burst out laughing, at the irony of our conversation.

"She's head of Aphrodite cabin. We're convinced shes a lizard in a skin suit." She said, through the laughter

"Haha ohhh, okay. Yeesh." I say, getting up and grabbing some clothes

"Tell me about it, sister. Bye!" She says, before leaving the cabin

I was alone in the cabin now, as everyone else went off to do their own thing outside.

I started getting ready, washing the tear steaks off my face, putting my hair into a braid, convincing myself that it was 'cute messy' and not just messy. I changed into a cute yet functional outfit, since it was sprinkling a little bit outside, ready for the day, with some time left to spare until breakfast.

The moment that 'breakfast' entered my brain, a concept I never usually thought about, since because I was a goddess, I never had to eat is now my top priority.

"Hey pageant princess you ready?" Cody said, peeking his head through the door

"Yeap, lets go." I say, finishing tying my shoe, and running out the door.

To my suprise, the whole cabin is outside waiting for me, to which I respond with "Oh whoah, hey guys."

"Hey, Kleio. We just wanted to walk you over to breakfast. We know it's probably super hard adjusting." Jax says

"Yeah, and Chiron forgot to mention a few details." Cody said, as we started walking

"Oh well thanks guys." I say, appreciatively
