*Late at night, an old man sitting on his recliner watches television. He gulped down his beer and grunted. A woman walked into the room and stood on the corner to watch him.*

Woman: You should really come to bed, dear. It's half past ten  and you know you need to be up in the morning for your doctor appointment.

Man: Yeah, I know. Just give me a little more time and I'll be right up there with you. I love you, hun.

Woman: I love you too. Five more minutes.

Man: Yeah...

*The woman headed upstairs to await her husband. The man burped and began to get a bit more comfortable when suddenly, the TV screen started to wobble. He sat up and grabbed the remote; attempting to flip through the channels hoping that it would solve the problem. The difficulties persist causing him to turn the TV off and sigh deeply. The TV came back on to the man's shock. He tried turning it off again, but this time the TV didn't respond to any input. A crackling sound can be heard from the TV with lightning shooting out of it. The electricity encircled the carpet in front of the TV until a man crouched down with arms touching down on two points to the side of him had appeared. The man is shown to be wearing a suit of some kind wrapped in wires and patches that connect to one another. The man sat back on his recliner in terror as this intruder rose from his crouched position and spoke*

Plug: Hello, Retired Captain Conner Jones. You don't know who I am, but I know who you are.

Conner: What do you want from me?

Plug: I want you to get what's coming to you, but first...the year is 1987, a older black man was opening up his corner store down in Compton and who should show up early in the morning, but a hardly sober and racist cop looking to net an arrest? Do you remember when that same man showed you proof of his identification and ownership of that store? Do you remember how he pleaded for his life before you gunned him down?

Conner: It's you! You're the little boy who was in the car. You watched me do that to him...Listen, I am so sorry for killing your father in cold blood. During that time I was nothing more than a bigoted drunk piece of garbage. I..I am so ashamed of my past that I did time in prison of my own volition. I was able to get back into the force and when I did, I decided to use my voice for racially equality. My son...my son is the light of my life. Taking his future into consideration and seeing how I was contributing to the disgusting behavior of police officers at that time...I couldn't let him grow into that.

Plug: A change of heart is a rare thing...however all things can't be rectified with a simple apology. Sometimes...blood spilled calls for blood to be spilled.

*plug approached the old man who cowered in his chair and touched his hearing aid; transporting himself into it and sends multiple lethal shocks throughout Conner's body. His skin began to sear and burn. In the morning, Jerome rose from his sleep to find the maids and butlers of the house watching the news on TV.*

Jerome: What's going on?

Harmonica: Looks like a murder of an ex cop. I've got 10 bucks on it going unsolved.

Orga: Yes. Those burns are quite irregular. It's going to take a lot of work to uncover the truth.

Viola: And whose to say it ever will be uncovered.

Maxine: You thinking what I'm thinking?

Jerome: Definitely. Speaking of which, we need to make a phone call before breakfast.

Orga: Breakfast will be waiting for you once you return.

Jerome: Thanks guys!

*In the city, Ericka enjoys a coffee from a local shop. She pushed up her sunglasses and softly sighed. *
