Chapter 4 : The Island

Winger's POV
Me and Summer were flying out towards the ocean I asked Summer "where should we go ?" She thought about it and smiled "how about the island we went to after we rescued Finguard?"
"Sounds good Sum lead the way" I told her she then led us to the island. A short while later we arrived at the island when we arrived she asked "Beach or forest Wing?"
"I vote forest the sand gets everywhere" she agreed and we landed in the forest "so what do you want to do Summer?" I asked her being polite she thought about it "how about truth or dare" "okay lady's first" "Truth or dare Wing" I thought about it "Truth" "do you have a crush?" Her comment caught me off guard "no I don't" she seemed a little sad with my response I should just tell her but I know she will reject me "Winger your turn" she made me come back into reality "okay truth or dare" "truth" she chose truth should I ask might as well "do you have a crush?" she looked at me "I do but I want to keep it a secret" why did I ask her that I knew I wasn't going to like the answer
"Truth or dare Wing?" Summer asked me "dare" she thought about it "you said you write poetry tell me some" "okay Roses are red violets are blue and I love your grove" I was looking at Summer she seemed impressed "wow Wing that was good" I smiled and slightly blushed "your turn Sum truth or dare?" "dare" "I dare you to swim in the water over there" I told her pointing to a lake "okay" she got in and began swimming after a few minutes she seemed confused and asked "is there a point to my dare I'm swimming alone" I smirked "really what about that Eeel" she froze and looked beside her there was a eel she screamed.
Summer's POV
Winger had deliberately put me in water that had eels in I was frozen in terror I spoke "is my dare over" he smiled "yes" I flew out of the lake as fast as I could when I landed I was breathing heavily he smirked "have a nice swim with the eel Sum" he teased I had enough of that I decided to get revenge.
"Winger you know if you mess with me I can punish you" he realised what I was going to do "you didn't think I would forget how ticklish you are" I continued with a smirk before he could react I leaped at him and started tickling his belly the only weak spot he has he was trying  to not laugh but i started tickling faster after a couple of minutes he burst out laughing "Alright! Stop! Stop! Please Summer Stop!" I stopped ticking Winger he got his breath back "Wing it's getting late we should rest" I told him looking up at the stars "okay night" he then sat down and closed his eyes I followed and closed my eyes I then drifted off to sleep.

I woke up the next morning I was near Winger he seemed to still be asleep I got up and went to get us some fish. I didn't go to the lake with the eel for obvious reasons but I did tickling Winger serves him right I found another without eels in it. I dived in and got some ice tailed pike. I walked back to him he had just stared to stir. He opened his beautiful yellow eyes and smiled "Morning Summer" "Morning Wing what do you want to do today?" I asked him he thought about it he was about to answer when he looked up and shot a power blast over my head. "Winger what was that for?"
"Wolfs!" He shouted I looked behind me and saw 5 wolfs coming right at us I quickly shot a water blast it knocked back two wolfs the other 3 surrounded Winger he shot a power blast at two and I shot a power blast at the last one "few that was close thanks Summer" "no problem Wing look out!" I shouted seeing a wolf on top of a hill it jumped down onto Winger it bit into his wing he let out a scream "Summer! Help!" I shot a water blast at the wolf it got shot into the air,Winger collapsed onto the ground I flew towards him.
"Winger are you alright talk to me" "Summer I.lov." Winger then fell unconscious. I was shocked and confused was he trying to say I love you? no that's not logical. He wouldn't like me would he ? I was trying to figure it out when I realised Winger is hurt I looked at his wing it was red and bleeding I put him on my back and looked around for shelter "a cave perfect" I headed towards the cave it was small but better than outside. I rested Winger on the ground and headed out to get some water and food.

I came back a short while later Winger was still lying on the floor so I decided to wake him,I walked up and started nuzzling his nose he opened his eyes "Summer what happened?" He clearly forgot "we were attacked by wolfs one jumped on your back and bit your wing I shot a water blast but you fell unconscious" I told him he seemed to remember then he froze and blushed as he also realised what else he said "and before you blacked out out you told me something what was that ?" I asked him
He had his head down "nothing" "Wing don't lie to me what were you trying to say" I pressured him "okay fine Summer from the moment you rescued me and Dak from the pirates I've had feelings for you,what I'm trying to say is Summer I Love You" his words echoed in my head yes! he loves me! I'm so happy.
Winger's POV
There it is I've just confessed to Summer that I love her I'm so embarrassed I keep my head down waiting for rejection when I felt my head being lift up I was met with Summer's beautiful yellow eyes she spoke " Winger from the moment I saved you and Dak and saw you I knew you were destined to be my mate Winger I love you" wait she loves me wow was not expecting that she loves me I'm so happy I moved my head towards Summer she copies and we closed are eyes and Kiss.
We held it for a couple of minutes then separated it was amazing I then let out a yawn and closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
