Chapter 5 : The Encounter

Winger's POV
I woke up next to Summer sleeping next to me I tried to move but a sharp pain went through my body I then remembered the bite in my wing of the wolf I knew I couldn't fly or really defend myself very well but at least I had Summer my new Girlfriend I can't believe she really loves me but I'm happy.

Summer's POV
I woke up and looked at my boyfriend he was already awake but thinking I looked at his wing it wasn't looking good we needed a plan to get Winger back to Hutsgalor when a idea came into my head I could fly back to Hutsgalor get Layla Dak and the others and come back for him it wasn't my best idea but rather the only option we have.
I looked at Winger and told him my plan "Morning Wing how you feeling?" "Morning Sum I'm in a bit of pain but otherwise alright" Wing I've been thinking I think I should fly back to the Roost and get Layla Dak and the others to come get you" I told him I could tell he was thinking my plan he looked up and nodded "okay go get Dak and the others and come back" I walked up and gave him a kiss "I'll be right back" I the flew off back to the Roost to get help.

Leyla's POV
It's been quiet the past couple of days without Summer and Winger I hope they confess to each other things have been quiet here too Axel has made a full recovery and is now living with us and we haven't heard anything from Magnus which is worrying. We were siting in the yard when I saw Summer flying towards us without Winger? That's strange she landed

"Hi Summer everything alright where's Winger?" I asked she seemed worried "Winger and I were attacked by wolfs and one bit it to Winger's wing he's injured and can't fly" she told us my expression changed "Dak Cutter Aggro get medical supplies,Summer Burple your with me we need to see Hanard" everyone nodded and flew off I got on Summer's back and we flew towards the village we landed and Hanard greeted us "Leyla what can I do for you?" "It's and emergency can you make a metal Dragon stretcher Winger is injured"

Hanard wasted no time and made the metal stretcher we then met up with Dak cutter and Aggro and we headed off towards Winger Summer leading the way.

Winger's POV
Summer has been gone for a couple of hours. I was still in the cave where Summer had brought me it was quiet till I heard Howls in the distance "the wolfs are back great" I said sarcastically 10 wolfs surrounded the cave I readied a power blast and shot it 5 wolfs were blasted back I aimed two more times and the wolfs were knocked back but then they came back and I was out of dragon blasts I knew it was the end till I heard "H-2- get away from my boyfriend!" I looked up to see Summer and the others flying towards me I was saved.

Summer's POV
We were coming up to the island when we saw Winger's power blasts I knew the wolfs must be back so I flew as fast as I could Leyla held on "Summer hurry" she yelled I led the team to where I left Winger I then spotted 10 wolfs surrounding the cave i immediately shouted "H-2- get away from my boyfriend!" I knew Leyla was probably smirking at my comment but I wasn't bothered I shot a water blast at the wolfs 3 were knocked back then Agro fired her fire blast and another 4 ran away and finally Cutter fired his spikes at the last of the wolfs. We landed by Winger and Leyla and Dak got off and ran to check Winger.
"We need to get you back to the Roost Winger" Leyla said we then helped Winger onto the metal stretcher that Hanard made and flew back to the Roost unaware something terrible had happened while we were gone.
