Chapter 6: The Attack

Dak's POV
After we had rescued Winger we headed back to Hutsgalor but when we were approaching the Roost something seemed off the village looked like it was burning.
"What happened to Hutsgalor?" Asked Burple
"One second" Cutter used his supper sight to see the town "o no Magnus has 10 Mechano dragons guarding the the town,the Roost looks like it's been wrecked" we landed at the Roost there were barrels and targets scattered all over and the sleep cave had been ransacked.

"Okay we need a plan" Leyla announced as me and her climbed off Summer we all looked at her she has a thinking face on after a short while she looked up "okay I have a plan Summer Agro Burple and Cutter your with me we're going into town to see what the situation is, Dak you must protect Winger and make sure Magnus can't hurt him everyone understand" we all nodded we then split up and moved out.
Summer's POV
Dak was staying with Winger back at the Roost while the rest of us headed towards Hutsgalor to stop Magnus. When we landed all the Mechano Dragons turned and faced us they had spikes all over then Magnus himself walked up.
"Hello Rescue Runts welcome back as you can see the village is safe and we don't need your help and also I've taken care of Axel"
"What do you mean taken care of Axel?" Leyla asked "let's just say he won't be seen for a while" Magnus smirked
"Well sorry to disappoint Magnus we're not going anywhere and your Mechano dragons are to dangerous so you're going to have to get rid of them" Leyla told him with determination clear in her voice "Never! Attack!" Magnus yelled all the mechano dragons fired power blasts? At us we flew out of doge.
"Okay we need a new plan!" Leyla yelled as I tried to doge the power blasts "without Winger those power blasts are going to be a problem" I replied back
"Wait that's it I have a idea Burple Aggro Cutter keep the mechano dragons distracted we will be right back" Leyla told them they nodded before quickly dodging another power blast
"We're we going Leyla?" I asked "to get Winger" "but he's injured" "I know but he doesn't have to leave the Roost" I was confused but headed back towards the Roost.
Winger's POV
After everyone left to stop Magnus Dak walked up "so Wing Summer said H-2- get away from my boyfriend when rescuing you from the wolfs does that mean the two of you have confessed?" Really now I might as well tell him
"Yes me and Summer did confess and she feels the same way" I told him happily "Winger that's amazing I'm so happy" Dak hugged me we were interrupted by explosions in the sky.
"That's not good" I spoke then Summer and Leyla flew back "what happened?" Dak asked "Magnus ordered his mechano dragons to attack us the others are keeping them distracted" Leyla explained "okay but how will we stop them?" I asked "Well Winger you will" Leyla replied I was confused I'm in no condition to fight my wing is still injured.
"How will I stop them I'm injured?" I asked "you don't need to fly just aim as high as you can and fire" Leyla explained "okay I guess" Summer and Dak helped me to the edge I took a deep breath and fired as high as I could I looked as it fell down onto the town it hit a mechano dragon it exploded "yes that's a hit again Winger!" Leyla yelled I did it two more times and both were hits "yes only 7 left" Leyla said excited "yea but I'm out of blasts" I told them "wait we need a green crystal" Leyla spoke "H-2-on it Wing" Summer flew into the Roost and got a green crystal she gave it to Dak and he put it on my saddle "last one Wing make it count" he told me I took one last deep breath and fired a huge mega blast it landed and all 7 mechano dragons exploded.
Everyone was shocked "how did you do that Winger?" Leyla asked me "I just fired a mega blast that's all" "no that wasn't a mega blast that was something else" she then looked in her dragon dairy
"Ley figure it out later we need to stop Magnus" Dak told her she nodded and Leyla and Summer flew back down to Hutsgalor to help Aggro Cutter and Burple.

Summer's POV
After Winger did that incredible blast Me and Leyla flew back to Hutsgalor I didn't even know my boyfriend could do that he's just so incredible I love him so much. We landed back at Hutsgalor and saw the aftermath of Winger's Mega Blast all the Mechano dragons were destroyed Aggro Cutter and Burple walked up "Winger saved us with his whatever that was then Magnus left this and ran to his hut" Cutter told us and pointed to a piece of paper on the ground.
Leyla walked up and picked it up she read it "what does it say?" I asked she looked at us worried "War"
