Rescue Riders The Adventure of Love

Chapter 1:The Incident

It was a beautiful day the Rescue Riders had just finished rescuing Elbone from his latest business venture
"Elbone maybe stick to fishing instead instead of a Wolf petting zoo" said Dak
"Your probably right common Rocky time for your bath" Replied Elbone he walked off to his boat
"So now what?" Leyla asked the team
Winger spoke up "how about a race back to the Roost
"O it's on" Summer replied with determination in her eyes

Winger's POV
I looked up at Dak he nodded I pulled my wings out and flew off with Summer close beside me I kept flying I saw the Roost Summer was about to catch up but I was faster I landed on the ground and Dak jumped off he spoke to Summer and Leyla who had just landed
"And that's how you win a race" he told them with a smirk we then head butted each other Dak was dizzy but got his balance back

Summer walked up with Leyla "yes we know your the fastest" "but I'm the hottest Aggro spoke as she landed beside us "I'm still the funniest" 
Cutter said next to Agro "and I'm really really winded" Burple said out of breath I spoke up "we're a team wing it in" we all did a high five then separated we then went off to do are own thing.

Summer's POV
We went off to do are own things. I went with Leyla because she wanted to update her dragon dairy but I was distracted watching Winger do loops with Dak I then heard "Summer summer you alright?" I snapped back into reality and looked at Leyla "yea why" I asked her "you were looking at Winger and Dak is there something your not telling me" I blushed "no" Leyla gave me the "give me the truth look" I couldn't say no to my best friend "okay fine I like Wing ..Winger" I told her I felt my whole face turn red Leyla gave me a smirk "so you have a crush on my brothers dragon?" I nodded "he's just so kind,caring,brave and cute" I realized what I was saying and stopped.

Leyla looked at me "so why don't you confess?" I looked down sad "but Winger won't like a dragon like me where not even the same species" Leyla thought and came up with an idea "why don't the two of you fly to an island for a couple of days then when your alone you can confess or he might confess to you what do you think?" I thought about it it di sound a good idea "i guess I could but when should I ask him?" "how about now" we then heard Winger and Dak shout "er guys there's something going on in town!".

Leyla jumped on my back and we flew into town we saw a crowd of people gathering around something they let us through and we saw "Magnus Finke great" Cutter spoke looks like he has a new invention with a long nozzle "Ladies and Gentlemen and flappy lizards presenting my newest invention my Power Blast Machine" so he is trying to get of us starting with my crush not going to happen.

"but that would mean we wouldn't need Winger" Dak spoke

"Exactly now behold I pull this leaver and" nothing happened "Axel what did you do" Magnus shouted at his Nephew "nothing uncle you didn't even let me touch it" Axel seemed off today

"does Axel seem off today?" I whispered to Winger

"Maybe but I just want to blast that machine" Winger whispered back I can understand why Winger does I want to blast that machine as well because it would replace Winger

Magnus pulled down on the leaver again and it shot a blast right at Winger without thinking i jumped Infront and shot a water blast I had just saved Winger!

Winger looked at me "thanks Summer" "no problem Wing your turn" he nodded and shot a power blast at the Machine it exploded Magnus was furious "Axel this is all your fault!" he shouted

"no it wasn't you didn't even let me touch it" Axel protested

so that's why Axel is feeling off Magnus is being a flat out jerk again

"Hey Magnus you should be more nice to your Nephew" Layla told him receiving agreement from the crowd

"why don't you rescue runts mind your own business" Magnus responded

I've had enough of his tone I flew up in front and shouted "YOU SHOULD BE MORE NICE TO YOUR NEPHEW AND THE WHOLE VILLAGE" I then realised he couldn't speak dragon but the look on his face he looked terrified he ran off scared Axel walked and spoke "Thanks Summer" and went to follow his uncle.

I turned around and the whole team was looking at me shocked "What?" I asked them

"Summer what was that?" Winger asked me kind of surprised kind of impressed

"Magnus should be more kind to his nephew" I stated we then flew back to the Roost

during dinner I was staring at Winger eat his food when Leyla spoke "Winger could you go and catch some more fish" he looked puzzled "ok..ay Dak you coming?"

"no Dak needs to stay here for a special Job" Layla finished something's going on

"sure you will be fine on your own right Wing?" Dak asked

"sure be back soon" Winger flew off  everyone was no looking at Leyla "what was that about?" Aggro asked her

"everyone into the sleep cave Summer has something to tell you" Leyla told them

I immediately knew what she was talking about but followed everyone inside.

Winger's POV
I was flying over the sea looking for Fish letting my mind think that was weird Leyla asking me to go and catch some fish without Dak I wounder what's going on I then saw some fish below me I swooped down and caught them in my Paws.

I was about to head back to the Roost when I spotted something in the distance I decided to fly over to see what it was when I was over the island I couldn't see what I had see before then without warning a next shot out of the tree line I fell to the ground with a thud I looked around trying to see what had just happened when I heard a laugh.

"HA ha ha you pathetic lizard fell right into my trap" Magnus? he walked out of the tree line he is getting extreme dragon napping but he does know I can just fly out of here.

"And because you can fly I added this feature" he pulled out a remote and pressed a button. A huge lighting bolt zoomed out of the trees and electrocuted me he kept doing it I tried to be strong but it was to much pain I let out a defining scream and passed out.

Summer's POV

Leyla led everyone inside and we all sat beside the fire.Aggro spoke up "so what is this all about?" she asked me and Leyla

Leyla looked at me then at everyone I knew what she was about to say "Summer has some news to share all eyes were now on me I took a deep breath and said "I..I like Winger" everyone was looking at me shocked Dak broke the silence
"You like Winger wow" in a surprised tone
"Speaking of which where is Winger he should be back by now?" Leyla said

We all looked up she's right he should be back by now something might have happened to him I'm so worried
Dak spoke " saddle up we're going to look for him"
Leyla jumped on my back and we flew off to find Winger we were searching for about ten minutes till we heard Cutter shout "I see him" in a worried tone
We landed in front of him and I couldn't believe my eyes Winger was landing on the ground black burnt marks covered his body and a net was over him it was barbaric
"We need to get him out" I spoke quickly Aggro and Cutter removed the net Leyla ran up she put her hand on Winger's back she looked worried
"We need to get him back to the Roost fast He's breathing just" Leyla spoke I walked up and put Winger on my back we flew back to the Roost I only had one question on my mind
"Who would do such a horrible thing to a dragon"

O no Magnus hurt Winger will he survive will Summer confess her feelings to Winger find out in the next chapter of this amazing love story. Peace 😊
