"Hey, Jake." (Y/N) said, joining the tall male on the walk way to the Lighthouse next to sea. hands buried into her Big Deal jacket. "Get moving, You still owe me dakgangjeong."

Jake glanced down at her with a slight smile before turning his gaze back to the ocean. "Now? Come on, (Y/N). I'll rememberse you."

"I don't care about money." She said, tossing him his jacket, "I care about my food."

"Shouldn't those two things go hand in hand?" He asked with a grin.

"Shoot, you're right." She stepped in front of him and held out her pinky finger.
"What are you doing?" He glanced at her.
"Are you stupid?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at him, "It's a pinky promise. Promise to buy me
dakgangjeong by the end of the week." He stared down at her with an eyebrow raised.

"This is a very serious promise, Jake Kim. And you will be faced with serious repercussions of you break it." She grabbed his hand and raised it up, looking at him expectantly. He rolled his eyes but eventually curled his finger around hers.

"I'll buy you some by the end of this week."
"Promise?"
"Promise."

(Y/N) grinned and turned around. "And just so you know, I take my sweet and sour friend chicken very seriously."

She'd been with Big deal for what seemed like forever, but in reality many months. She had even been given one of those long flowly jackets. Being Big Deal's 4th was never her intention, none the less it was where she wound up. Joining another 'gang' had been on the bottom of her list, but then again, Big Deal was more a family than a gang.

She helped the girls around the store. Not because she was forced to, but they were also her friends. Suddenly, a commotion outside drew her attention. Seeing some of the girls crowding outside, she decided to find out what the fuss was about. Peeking over their shoulders, she set eyes on the fuss. A boy, probably near her age, stared up at her. "(Y/N)! Jerry found this cutie in the street, what do you think?"

Before she could respond, she felt a presense behind her. She felt his presence before those words left his mouth. There was always a darkness in him, and she should have known back then. "What are you ladies doing right now?  You're supposed to be running the stores." She knew he seemed tough, but she had been fortunate to experience his soft side. It was clear that not many people noticed his redeeming qualities, even if they were seemingly endangered.
