ʟᴏᴏᴋɪꜱᴍ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ-?

(Y/N) hadn't been to the arcade in a few days. Not because she was avoiding anyone, just because school had actually taken up her time. Shocking, isn't it?

Unfortunately her route home was past the arcade. If she was avoiding anyone, it would be a problem. It was her only slight gaming addiction that was the real problem. When the neon LED's came into view, her feet seemed to grow a conciseness. It grew increasingly harder and harder to not enter.

(Y/N) would never have thought that the personification of her feet would be her downfall. Before she knew it, she was through those doors, heading towards the claw machine.

She stared the unattainable Kirby down. It would be hers, even if she had to break the glass after hours and steal it. And (Y/N) was reaching breaking point. Using her remaining coins, she started the pain staking game. She could only hope that Taehoon wouldn't ask for 500 won.

Moving the joystick like she had done countless times before, (Y/N) exhaled gently. But as she felt a presence behind her, her posture slackened.

"I don't have 500 won, Tae-" Being cut off midsentence was never enjoyable. Especially when some one as strong and as rough as Taehoon was grabbing your arm, pulling you along. "What- What is wrong?!" The girl exclaimed when he finally let go.

"Why have you been avoiding me?" He asked, arms folded across his chest, staring down at the (h/c) girl. Eyeing him curiously (Y/N) shook her head.

"I have not been avoiding you, Tae. School's just been busy-"

"I watch Yoo Hobin's stream and imagine my surprise when I see you there." He interrupted again, unwavering. (Y/N)'s eyes widened in realization as he went on. "And then I don't see you for days."

"Tae, listen. I am sorry. I've been such a dick." She knew it must have felt like the old days. Just before Dowoon... well, you know.

"No shit." He said, dramatically looking to the side.  He never was emotionally mature, was he? "How the fuck did you get involved with things like that anyway? I figured we both would have stayed away from gangs given..."

He did not finish his sentence but (Y/N) understood. Given that Dowoon was killed by one. "Do you really wanna know?" His silence was her answer.

"We were both fucked up after him. I met Moonseong afterwards and he helped me along with his mentor but... The people that 'cared' for me were into that stuff and... I just fell. Plus, money." She tried to cover up her heavy words with a dry chuckle at the end.
