~Dismissal
(Claude's POV:)
Hmm…I wonder where Avery is. Honestly, I find her really kind and her looks are a bonus, too. She even volunteered walking with me to my class. Yeah, I know it sounds ironic because usually, it’s the guy who walks the girl, whatever. Point is, I’m new here and she’s the only person I was able to talk to and knows the way around this place. But I really wondered what’s up with her in the cafeteria a while ago. Seems as if she was afraid being seen by someone…but who? I saw her with 2 other girls, they must be her friends. Good to know so, I’m really starting to want to know her more.
As if on cue, I saw Avery running towards my direction, looking flushed and sweaty.
“Hey, I’m sorry I’m late! I got stuck in Chemistry,” she explained, stopping to catch her breath. Chemistry, huh? To be honest, I’m quite decent at it than any other subject maybe because I’m more of a math person. Not to brag or anything.
“No, it’s fine. I just got here, too.” I lied, just so she wouldn’t feel uncomfortable anymore. Man, I don’t want to make her feel more awkward than what were about to do already seems. She managed to give me a smile and after she rested for a bit, she asked me if she could just run home for a while so she could change into much comfier clothes. I agreed and we went out.
Once we were out of there, I headed to the parking lot, not noticing that she was already half-way out the gate. I ran after her before she could walk farther away.
“Hey, Ave! Wait up! Aren’t you riding your car?” I asked, stopping her by placing a hand on her shoulder.
“My house is just a walking distance from school. So, I don’t really use my car.” She answered smiling.
“I see. Then, would you mind if I drive you there? So, you know, you wouldn’t have to walk anymore and sweat,” I replied, trying not to sound too eager. “And, so we could already begin the ‘touring.’”
She thought for moment then asked,” You sure it’s not a bother?”
I shook my head and offered her a smile. “‘Course not, anyway, it’s as much as I could do for your agreeing to show me around this place.” She smiled. I can’t help but notice how pretty she is when she does. Okay. Claude, try to at least not creep the girl by blurting that out.
I lead the way to my car and helped her in and went to my side and slid in. Then we drove off.

We reached her house in about 10 minutes, due to slight traffic. Her house was pretty big, I observed. It has 2 floors and its own balcony which looked very elegant because of the contrast of its colours from the sun. Avery told me she’ll just change and freshen up a little, but will be quick. Then she went out and headed towards the house.
(Avery's POV:)
Claude is really sweet, offering me a ride even though my house is just a few minutes’ walking distance from school. He even told me that I might just sweat more if I walked, very thoughtful of him, though maybe he did it because he was just really a gentleman. Besides, I’ll be his tour guide around this place which is new to him.
I headed straight up to my room to take a quick shower and to put on a pair of fresh and clean clothes, but I was stopped half-way by my Aunt.
“Back so soon? I thought you’ll be home by eight?” she asked curiously.
