As you began to turn away from the brothers after bowing to the Duke and Duchess who had left after you started to step past the table you had sat near, you collided with a tall, hard body.

you raised your head to apologize for the accident but soon realized that the person you had bumped into was who the brothers had been staring at.

Levi's pitch black eyes pierced your skin and you got nervous.

"Sir Levi, weren't you standing by..." you turned your head to point towards the Duke and Duchess but they had disappeared?!

'Aw come on, why now! This makes me look like an idiot!'

you nearly gained whiplash from hearing a small chuckle erupt from Levi himself. Then you were startled when you saw Caleb begin to walk towards you after grabbing the sapphire and standing with the necklace stretched in between his hands.

"Lady [Name], even if you may think that this was meant for Hazel, you still have to wear it to show that you are a part of this family. It's for our engagement." Caleb muttered, running a hand through his golden hair while focusing only on you.

you slightly wanted to scream at how hot his assertiveness is, who wouldn't be enamored with a hot man like Caleb Vaughn?

'How dare he be that hot?! It's so unfair that he looks so good!"

you smiled awkwardly and sighed, nodding toward the jewels so he could put them on before hearing a lively voice speak out.

"Cal! Rome! Lev! I've been looking for you guys everywhere!" Hazel grinned and ran towards Roman, hugging him tightly. She turned her head towards Caleb but frowned when she noticed you in front of him because he was focused on placing the necklace on you instead of Hazel.

"C-Cal? Can I have one like that too?" She questioned, smiling brightly.

Roman answered her question before Caleb could even open his mouth.

"No Hazel, that is meant for the wives of the Vaughn Dukedom. Have you not seen Mother wear one?"

Hazel nodded, her eyes filling up with tears. Levi and Roman rushed to her side and started comforting her with words of love and adoration. Caleb quickly fixed the necklace onto [Name's] neck and strode towards Hazel. you grimaced and shook your head.

'Never mind, hot people are always bastards and they are no exception. Like why would you do that in front of your fiance?!'

you snorted and exited the room while looking past the hallway before feeling someone grab your arm and pull you back into the room.

Roman's golden eyes sent shivers down your spine. Even his gentle touch on your wrist felt like a knife gliding across your arm.

"Don't forget, my sister-in-law, that we are having a ball tonight for Hazel's birthday. Make sure to enter the ballroom on time..." He sounded threatening as if you would die if you refused to come to wish Hazel a happy birthday. you took a breath and tried to ignore your fear by glancing at the future saintess as if she was going to save you from her 'family'.

Though, with her kindness, you weren't quite sure she wouldn't.

Of course, while you were silently praying for Roman to let you go, the three perceived your looks as glares toward Hazel and grew defensive enough to scare you away and have you run through the tall door without noticing the satisfied glance on Hazel's face.

'I have to get my mean game up! Better start punching people I guess.'
