After long time, fallen into the abyss of this fateful night, and countless steps here and there near my lovers, I sat down in front of them and sighed quietly, as if I didn't want the watchful forest to notice the burning tension in my chest. 

Following my move, one of the tiny sparks flying around gently settled on Soobin's pinkish cheek, shading corners of my lips into some kind of tender smile. 

Our rarest Peony... may your roots lead my greatest Muse to current, flowing along a path at the end of which we will all be together again... may the shooting star bring back our tomorrows with Guardian... 

I prayed, lightening up a shining blessing above my palms... I could finally create it thanks to glowing stars, recharging my magic powers. 

... hope you don't feel too lonely, Yeonjunie... 

The firefly fluttered its wings, before its light suddenly went out. 

"He is the greatest indeed... I can't even scratch his precious eyes." 

A purring unfamiliar voice startled me and made me spring back to my feet. I cautiously searched for its source. 

"How is the shift going? I see you have changed your ward," after these additional sneaky words, I spotted a white cat, wallowing in deadly hurricane lilies. The green-blue gaze staring straight into my soul. 

"It's you." 

"This is my personal opinion, but- shouldn't you rather watch over Healer?" the spirit chuckled playfully. 

Beomgyu? I glanced at Taehyun. 

"He is safe... thanks to the magic that kicked your ass," I stated confidently. 

"Well, you're right... he rea~lly is safe in that room," the cat dispassionately licked its paw, making me feel a tickle on my shoulder blades and clenched fists. 

... but not out of that room. 

"Where is he? What have you done to him?" I urgently stepped closer, immediately spreading out my angel wings. 

"Me? Nothing more than the awakening of ordinary curiosity, so he can finally see what's actually going on in this world... 

After all, see for yourself, Amor." 

In one simple blink I could view the forest burning to ashes, smoking and cracking in flames... the white puss turned into a cat-resembling shadow with a crooked grin. 

"I wonder... how long the world will last if you rip out its heart?" 

Tsk. So it's true, Yeonjun is gone and condemnation is knocking on the door. 

"You're really just robbing us of time," I hissed and turned my back to the spirit. 

While quickly recreating the blessing I kneeled to Soobin, then inserted the pure light into his chest with ease. 

"Hang in there and find the way to Yeonjun, Loves. I'll be right back... with Beomgyu," I finished the promise, last couple of words aimed to the giggling shadow. 

Without further delay I took off and flew above the treetops directly into the town. 

"Wait! Let's see who's gonna be first there!"
