Episode Four

Y/n finally made it to graduation. There were some terrifying times when friends were kidnapped, hilarious times when cadets were battling each other in a cook-off, and times where Y/n would wake up in a cold sweat screaming and trashing in her bed.

Now everything came to fruition as the moonlight blared down on Y/n's naturally cold features, and her eyes stared up at the six commanders standing in a horizontal line. "Do you have heart!" She, along with the graduating cadets, instantly saluted

"Yes, sir!"

"As of this moment, you have three options open to you!" He yelled, staring at ten teens standing closer to the stage. "Chose wisely. The garrison regiment, whose job is to reinforce the walls. The scout regiment."

Y/n adjusted her stance, already knowing where she would go. "Who rides out into Titan country to take back what was once ours! And the MP regiment, maintaining law and order under orders from his Royal Majesty."

He paused, taking a breath. "Those cadets eligible for the MP have already been named. The rest of you take a look! These are the top of your class."

Y/n stood confidently between Annie and Reiner, making her place third, while Mikasa was first, though most cadets were confused when Reiner was named second place instead of Y/n.

Despite her mellow demeanor, Y/n was one of the brightest and best fighters among the cadets; everyone understood she was not only strong with her fists but also relatively agile when using the ODM gear, flying around as if she were a bird, chopping down each wooden titan without fail.

She was one of the greatest wonders among the class, and nobody was surprised when she admitted her mother, father, and uncle were each in the scout regiment. Her uncle now a captain, which Y/n got word of during the first year of training.

And she nearly jumped out of her skin once reading over the news.
