Like every household, there are a series of events housemates would naturally go through. A month of staying with them made me feel like I belonged. Even Beebo was growing on me.

Today, I woke up to give Aro his breakfast. He was nicer now. Kinder. Would come for dinner on some days. Even though there was a slight awkwardness between us when we were alone, we bickered it away.

"I'm not red," Aro stated, huffing and puffing and looking like a tomato.

"Beebo, facial scan. Does your Master seem red?"

Immediately, Beebo wheeled over and scanned Aro. "Very red."

I giggled, Aro holding a pillow to hide his face. I had taken an interest into his love life and Aro was holding back answers to my questions.

"Okay, how many girls have you kissed? Or guys, no judgey," I said to him.

Aro lowered the pillow, rolling his eyes. "Since you're so annoyingly persistent. More than ten."

My jaw dropped. "What? More than ten?"

"I slept around when I was studying," Aro said simply. "I don't do that anymore, okay? How about you?"

"Just the one," I replied casually, and he stared at me. "What? Just Devine. And that random guy I made out with at a party, but I was so drunk I couldn't remember."

"So... two men?"

"I'm a woman with a past, Aro. I have a lot of experience," I said as-a-matter-of-factly.

Aro scoffed. "So she says."

"Do you not believe me?"

"I have no reason to believe you," he said, going back to the TV and fast forwarding scenes on the screen. I reached over to pinch his cheek, but he instinctively grabbed my arm and tugged me onto his lap.

I screeched. "Ow! Ow! What the—"

"Sorry! I thought you wanted to hit me!"

"Why would I ever want to hit you?" I asked back, trying to move my arm. "I think you dislocated my shoulder!"

"Beebo, come see if I broke her arm," Aro ordered, Beebo bleeping: X-Ray Mode activated!

He scanned my arm, but since I splayed across Aro's lap, he scanned Aro, too. Aro placed a hand on my head to hold me still when Beebo's red signal went off.

"Beep, beep, beep," Beebo alerted. "Master's heart is beating at an abnormally fast rate. Here are a list of Cardio—"

"Beebo, nooooo! Beebo, do not call the hospital!" Aro repeated. "Do not call the hospital!"

I sat up, massaging my arm before staring at Aro. "Why is your heart rate fast?"

"Because I thought you wanted to punch me. Got scared."
