Till I Met You

Chapter 6

After Lucy and Tamara left jenny can't do anything but to visit his brother's room..his awake and obviously expecting someone other than her..

Tim:"have you seen Lucy?where are they..jenny..I have a daughter..the girl I've been telling you about is Lucy's daughter..our daughter.."(he exclaimed..)

Jenny:"yes..I saw them..but they left.."

Tim:"what?I..I need to see them again..I need to explain everything to Lucy..she needs to know that I didn't intentionally abandon them.."(he said in panic wanting to remove the IV connected to him.. jenny instantly stopped him..)

Jenny:"Tim..she already knows..they heard the doctor and I explained everything to her with your daughter..but we can't expect her to just accept and be ok about it..she feels abandoned for a long time..I can feel she's mad..we need to give her time to process everything.."(she calmly explained..)

Tim:"jenny I wanna see them again I wanna be with them..Tamara is my child..I wanna be with her.."

Jenny:"I know and you will..but we can't rush it..it will take time Tim..it might not be easy but I promise I'll help you..she seems like a good child..and she really looks like you.."

(The two spent the time talking about how Tim found Lucy again through Tamara..Tim is persistent in wanting to be with his child and Lucy in any way possible and jenny Promised to help her brother..)

While on the other hand after spending her time in the shower Lucy drowned her self with a bottle of tequila that she hasn't done for a while now..she was sitting on her balcony avoiding Tamara to see her..she almost finished her 2nd bottle and obviously drunk when Tamara sneaks out on her room looking for her..

Lucy:"why do you have to come back? I'm fine now.. we're fine..why do you have to bother us again?"(she cried out loud..like she's talking madly to someone..Tamara just watched her worried..just letting her mom let out all her feelings..)

Lucy:"you left us..you leave me..you leave our daughter without a father..for more than 15 years and you expect me to accept you with a sorry?"

Lucy:"I suffered alone..I carried her alone..when you promised to be by my side forever..you leave us when we need you the most..you and your whole damn family..you leave me..you leave.."(she continued shouting while crying out..Tamara couldn't just stand seeing her mom in so much pain..she grabbed her and hugged her so tight as she continued to cry out all her emotions..she tried to carry her mom and stand up guiding her to her bed and leaving the liquor bottle on the floor..)

Lucy was so drunk that can't even stand straight she's crying but her eyes were close..Tamara laid her down the bed and wiped her tears..it's the first time she saw her mom in this much pain.. knowing it's because of the guy she knows as a friend it made her feel anxious..

She knows Tim could be her father as what she understands on what had happened and on how her mom reacts seeing Tim and his sister..she is supposed to be happy as they were really good friends at first but seeing how it affects her mom made her really worried..she wanted the confirmation from her mom but she knows she's not yet ready to talk about it now..she let her mom rest and just laid beside her she hugged lucy to comfort her and they both sleep together wishing that tomorrow would be a better day for them..

The next day..Lucy woke up with a headache from a hangover She felt sick for having an overdose of liquor last night she can't remember how she got to her bed..she got up and took a quick shower to ease her hang over and quickly cleans out the bottles of tequila from her balcony before she went out..while Tamara woke up earlier to cook breakfast for them.. she's at the kitchen preparing a plate of bacon eggs and pancakes with a glass of tomato juice her mom's favorite breakfast and the best hangover juice preferred by her uncle John..

Lucy:"wow.. savory breakfast.."(she commented watching her daughter while sitting at the kitchen counter..she could feel her daughter's worries and confusions.)

Tamara:"did I wake you up by the smell?"(she tried teasing her mom.. though she spent the time she was cooking thinking of ways how she could ask her mom about Tim..)

Lucy:"kinda..it smells really good here..don't you have school today?"

Tamara:"mom it's Saturday no school.."

Lucy:"ok..well I'm off today you wanna go out? we could go shopping..watch some movies anything you want.."(she asked..trying to make up about what happened the other day to them..)

Tamara:"hmm..are you feeling better today?"(she asked hesitant..she takes a deep breath and looks away..senses her daughter trying to start a serious conversation..a conversation she might still not yet ready to have..)

Lucy:"well after you prepared this wonderful breakfast who will never feel better?"(she replied with a smile but didn't reach her eyes..)

Tamara:"mom..I know what happened in your room last night..please stop pretending.."(she confess..hesitant and worried about her mom..)

Lucy:"you wanna..ask me something?"(she replied after a deep breath again..preparing for the expected questions..)

Tamara:"hmm..about..about last night..is Tim my..my real father?"(she finally asked..still very hesitant but she wanna know the truth from her mom..now that Tim is quite part of her life already she wants to know how her mom feels..)

Lucy:"y..yes .. he's your father..I know after what happened last night you already understand everything and I can't stop you if you still want to see him..his a part of you and you both became good friends before you find out the truth..if he really had amnesia before like what jenny said that's why he vanished for a very long time I don't know what should I feel about that.."

Tamara:"but mom you heard the doctor he said it will be better for his recovery if he could be around us more..he started regaining memories after he saw your photo..can't we be with him?"

Lucy:"Tamara your father and I are long time done..there are so many things that happened unexpectedly and we can't remake that..16 years is too long for us to be together again.."

Tamara:"why not? Your single..his single..can't you guys try at least just be friends?if you really can't be together again.."(she tried to insist..)

Lucy:"I'm not dating anyone cause I wanna focus on you and my work..look I know you wished to have a complete happy family and I'm very sorry I haven't given you that but you know I tried to be enough right?I wanted you to be happy..but we can't force things to happen if we can't..like I said I won't stop you if you still wanna continue seeing him it's your choice I won't be mad I promise..but I don't want you to expect that me and Tim could be together again cause it's really very hard to make it happen..ok..?you understand me right?"(she explained and refused..Tamara just can't do anything..she don't want to force her mom on doing something she can't just for her cause she knows she won't be happy about it either..she take defeat..)

Tamara:"ok..I just won't see him again then..I don't wanna hurt you..your enough for me.. you've been with me on anyway I needed..we lived without him we can still live without him.."(she firmly said..but didn't mean it as much..Tim became a really good friend to her and she once hoped to have a father like Tim..)

Lucy:"baby you don't have to.."

Tamara:"mom I'll be fine your more important to me..if you don't wanna talk to him I won't too.."

Lucy:"well like I said it's up to you..but I won't stop you if you still wanna.."

Tamara:"mom like I said your enough for me..were good just the 2 of us..I just ask because I want to confirm it from you..I will only believe anything from you..now I'm ok..the news might surprise me a little bit but now I'm ok..let's eat and have the most amazing mother and daughter day.."(she cut and assured her mom of her honesty and love..they prepared the center table in the living room and put their meals..Tamara started to search for a good movie on Netflix and played one while they enjoy their food..)
