Till I Met You

Chapter 5

Tamara has been very happy since she moved in with her mom from her grandparents in Tennessee..her new school is few miles away from their apartment but she managed to travel though Lucy dropped her off in the morning before going to work..

She was able to adjust quickly with the environment and was overwhelmed with good friends..the special one? Her new found friend at the Chick-fil-A..Tim..

They have seen each other many times in the last 2 weeks..they talked a lot about Tamara's day and Tim with some stories about the cases he had..there are several times also that Tim dropped off Tamara to their apartment when they happened to see each other after school since it's in the zone where Tim use to patrol..but she chooses not to mention it to her mom as she knows she will be upset about her riding on someone's car..

Tim:"are you sure you're mom's picking you up here?"( He asked while they were eating at their favorite place after Tamara's class..Lucy asked her to wait until she picked her up as she was close to the area doing some errands..)

Tamara:"she said she'll be here in a few..I can wait here alone if you need to go..I'll be fine.."(she said with a smile.. they've been very comfortable with each other like they have known each other for years..)

Tim:"no I'll just have to clock out afterwards..unless there's a call I can be here until your mom showed up.."(he insisted..)

Tamara:"well I told her your waiting here with me.. fortunate enough to have free snacks..I guess it's time for you to meet her..I already told her your nice guy..but she seems bothered ever since I told her about you.. don't get her wrong..I know she's just worried.."

Tim:"I could get that.. she's your mom..she could get worried about you all the time.. specially when I can't watch over you all the time.."

Tamara:"well I get worried about her every time she goes to work too.. sometimes I keep thinking how dangerous she could get at work.."

Tim:"well in our line of work there's always a high risk of our life being in danger but I know your mom is badass enough to get through that and go home to see you..well if your really worried about her I could transfer to her station so I could watch over her and make sure she's safe.."

Tamara:"that's crazy..do you really just wanna do it for me or you just wanna see my mom everyday?well she's single if you'll ask.."(teasing tone)

Tim:"of course I'll do it for you..I mean we're friends right?and friends look out for each other if I could help you make sure she's safe why not.."

Tamara:"do you really can do that? I mean you can transfer anytime to her station if you want?"(curious look)

Tim:"well I could talk to someone..I'm a good friend of their watch commander so I could use a favor..it's possible.."

Tamara:"woow..that's cool..ok if you really want.. at least you'll get to know each other..and you could..da.."(she exclaimed in amaze and starting to think silly but she was cut off when..)

Voice:"Tamara.."(a voice called her she looked at the direction and it's her mom..tim was facing back at the door so when Tamara stand he looked back and instantly got stun of who he saw..)

Tim:"LU..CY?"(He called in disbelief..on the other hand Lucy was paused upon seeing who's with her daughter..so much emotion came running through her..)

Tamara:"you know my mom?"(she confusely asked..looking at her mom and  back with Tim..she got so curious on her mom's reaction..)

Lucy:"t..Tamara let's go.. let's go.."(she command in hurry and serious tone..)

Tim:"Lucy wait..can we..ahhhw..ahgh.."(he tried to stop Lucy from walking out but his head suddenly hurt like it was hit by something then he started scrambling holding his head..)
