Till I Met You

Chapter 7

TIM'S POV
After seeing Lucy again I can't get her out of my mind..I've been thinking of ways how I could explain to her what happened to me and ask her for a second chance..I really do wanna be with her again and complete our family..I know it will never be that easy but I can be persistent..

It's been 3 days since the incident I got out of the hospital and I'll be back to work tomorrow after my clearance..it's past 4 in the afternoon I'm in Tamara's school.. waiting for her to come out..I know her schedule for today I just wanna see and talk to her again..I don't know what's on her mind after what happened.. knowing now she's my daughter I'm so glad but nervous..

After a few more minutes there were a bunch of students who came out and I spotted Tamara right away.. she's walking to the bus stop..

Tim:"Tammy hey.."(I called out..she looked back and saw me but she looked away and continued walking..)

Tim:"ouch.."(I shouted and tried to sound painful..she instantly looked back worried and caught me faking..)

Tim:"do I really need to get hurt again before you talk to me?"( I asked sulking tone..)

Tamara:"sorry..I honestly don't know how to talk to you now that.."(she answered hesitantly and looked down.)

Tim:"now that you found out I'm your real dad?"(I continued..and she nodded and looked away..)

Tim:"Tamara look I know what happened was overwhelming and unexpected..I was out of yours and your mom's life for a long time..but believe me I never mean that to happen and as soon as I found out that i possibly have a child I looked for you and your mom right away in anywhere possible..I'm so glad it's you..I won't force you to call me dad if you're not yet ready..you can call me anyway you want..I just want to keep our friendship..can we not change that?can I still be your friend Tim?"(I asked I wanna hugged her so badly but I don't want her to feel awkward..)

Tamara:"I don't want to hurt mom.."(she answered..)

Tim:"does she want you to avoid me?"

Tamara:"no..no..she didn't..she actually said it's up to me if I still wanna talk to you it will be ok for her but I know she's not..she was hurt and it hurts me too.."

Tim:"Tamara I promise you I'll do anything to fix our situation but I would be very glad if I can get your support..what happened to me and Lucy was very unfortunate and unexpected it changes everything that we had..I know it will be very difficult to gain her trust again but I swear to you I will fix it ok..just don't avoid me too..please.."(I begged and open my arms calling out for a huge hug she hesitate at first but still came in..I hugged her as tight as I can..)

Tim:"promise I'll never leave again..I love you my baby girl..just give me and mommy time we will make our family complete and I will never let you two go ever again.."(I whispered to her..she hugged me back so tight but didn't say anything then I heard sniffles.. she's crying..I smiled and just hugged her..I already know what she feels..I get Misty eyed too..)

Tim:"you wanna get some strawberry milkshake?"(I invited to ease the moment..I'm so happy I get to keep our friendship for now I'll accept what ever she can put me in..I know I still have to gain her trust and love as her dad..and I won't give up to get that..)

Tamara:"can we also get cookies and cream for mom?"(she replied with smile now..)

Tim:"of course..maybe you can also help me more about her..you know 15 years is a long time..I need to know her now.."

Tamara:"I already thought of setting you up on a date with her before but I think it will be harder this time.."

Tim:"really?you wanted me to date her before?"(I curiously asked while we were  going to my car..glad she's already rooting for me..)
