Chapter 11: Nuan-jie

         The conference is over. The drinking and celebrations have begin. The stars are out. Senior Mo and Hanguang Jun had arrived halfway through the events. Who even know where they have been. 

    Senior Mo sits outside with the young disciples. He watched them play a board game, which he also joined in on the fun and dominated.

Zizhen: Aiya- Senior Mo is so good. It's hard to get any wins.

Senior Mo/ Wei Wuxian: You're just letting me win. Let's play another round.

Sizhui: I'm going to step out for this round. A-Nuan hasn't come back yet and it's been a while. 

Jingyi: Let's go looking for her. Like Jin Chan said earlier. Carp Tower is a large place. What is she got lost?

Jin Ling: Let's stop playing and look for Changbi then.

Wei Wuxian puts the game neatly together: A-Nuan hasn't been back? Where did she go?

Zizhen: Well...

          Changbi wakes up. Her head is a bit dizzy and she has a bitter taste in her mouth. It took her a moment to realize that she wasn't in her own room. When she took a moment to recollect her thoughts. 

        Last she remembers, she was trying Jin Suyin's dried fruit. What had happened since?

     Changbi sits up and realizes that her arms are chained to a wall and she panicks. Changbi tries to shake the chains off which obviously had no affect. 

     She then looked around the room for something to cut the chains. The room she is in has multiple green shelves with weapons and books on them as well as a little studying area across her. 

      Changbi calls out: Anyone there?! Someone help me! Jin Suyin is in danger! Help!!

The room was silent. Even the windows had no light. It's as if they were just drawn on there and there was actually no outside.

Changbi: Oh no, I failed. How could I have ended up here? Someone is stopping me from leaving. Someone must have kidnapped Jin Suyin and left me here!

Changbi tried to see if she can extend herself to tip over one of the shelves. SHe hoped that maybe a sword or something would land near her to break her free. However, she found out that she was too far from everything. 

Changbi: Oh! The shell! I can call for help! 

    She pats herself down and finds that her items were missing. 

Changbi: Someone! Help me! Jin Suyin is in danger!

        Just then, Jin Suyin walks in through a golden mirrior that Changbi had not noticed.

Jin Suyin walks over to her: Oh. Nuan-jie.

Changbi: Jin Guniang! You're here! Quickly, release me.

Jin Suyin: I can't do that. My people are having a difficult time finding Jin Ling.

Changbi: Oh~ I'll help you look for Jin Ling. He must be chained somewhere in this place as well. Actually- where are we?

Jin Suyin chuckles a little with a smirk: Where do you think we are? We're still in Carp Tower. You're just my prisoner now.

CHangib: What?

JIn Suyin: Gosh- Nuan-jie, get with the program. I'm in no danger. You are though. 

Changbi: What? Why are you doing this?

JIn Suyin: Do I have to do my villian speech? (sighs) Fine. I don't want to be- like you said earlier- "in relations" with the Jin Clan. I want to BE the Jin Clan. Being what I am now is just not enough. There will be people talking about how I'm only Jin Guangshan's secret child. I'm going to shut all of them up.
