Ava and I were back together, literally everything I had ever wanted is finally coming together. I was so happy, I was more happy about how I would never have to worry about losing her again, because like I said years ago, I'm going to marry her. I had stayed at her house that night, on accident, but a happy accident. I was able to wake up next to her, I got to see how pretty she looks when she sleeps like I was once able to before. I kissed her forehead and saw her smiling.

"Good morning," She smiled.

"Good morning," I kissed her softly, and she put her hand on the back of my neck.

"MOMMYYYYYY," I heard Dahliah running down the hallway towards Ava's room.

I moved quickly away from Ava causing myself to fall on the floor, causing her to crack up. It reminded me from one of the first times we kissed when we were in my room and she fell off the bed. Dahliah ran into the room and jumped on the bed.

"Daddy why are you on the floor?" She giggled.

"I dropped my phone," I smiled at her.

"Come sit," Leah patted the bed and I got back in bed with my girls.

"Hey Leah, can I ask you something?" Ava smiled at the little girl.

"Yesssssssss," She giggled.

"Can daddy come around more? Is that okay?" Ava smiled, and Dahliah's eyes lit up.

"FOR REAL LIFE?" She grinned.

I couldn't help but smile, I was making Ava happy, after every single thing I fucked up in the past. Dahliah got down and ran up to her playroom, and I turned to Ava.

"I love you," I smiled.

She kissed me in response, and I knew she loved me too. She didn't have to say it, her actions spoke louder than her words ever will, my Avalon. She was all mine. Her hands placed on my chest, sliding up to intertwine in my hair and I pulled her closer.

"Matt," She broke the kiss.

"Hm?"

"I love you," She smiled.

My heart skipped a beat, those words sounded so beautiful coming from her mouth. I reconnected our lips and I felt her smile.

"We should stop-" I pulled away.

"No," She pulled me back and we got lost in each other.

I laid next to her and she moved into my side.

"I missed you," She smiled to herself.

Avalon threw me my t-shirt, and threw on my sweatshirt, causing me to smile to myself.

"Leah is coming," She spoke right as Leah came into the room.

"How did you-" I laughed.

"Intuition," She laughed.

"Mommy can we go to the park," Dahliah grinned at her mother, and Ava gave an almost identical grin back.

"Yea we can!"

"Is daddy coming?" Dahliah smiled.

"Yea, I am," I grinned at her and she jumped with excitement.

We all piled into Ava's car and drove to the nearest park, as Leah jumped out the car running through the swings.

"Remember on graduation day?" I smiled.

"I made everyone get up and go to the park so we could be kids one last time," Ava nudged my arm.

"We fell asleep in the tube slide, and then cops were called on us," We laughed together.

We were different now, we were grown up, but there was something about Ava that was so full of life still, there was something that could take us back to when we were fresh out of high school again.
