I woke up in a panic around three this morning because of a bad dream. I felt like I was going to die because of me hyperventilating. I looked up at the ceiling trying not to cry but then I felt Ava's arms around me.

"It's okay, you're okay, it was just a dream," She held me and I sung into her.

I hadn't had a bad dream like this in a while, but I used to get them all the time because of how high my anxiety is, but she could always cure the feeling. She smoothed my hair and just held me reassuring I was okay.

"Thank you," I whispered.

She held me close and laid back down, and I fell asleep almost instantly. A few hours later I woke up again, seeing it was 10:30, which was a more reasonable time to wake up. I slowly slipped out of Ava's grasp and went into the kitchen, where Nick and Chris were sitting.

"Morning sunshine," Nick took a drink of his water.

"Stop that," I rolled my eyes.

"Is Ava awake?"

"No."

"You lyin?" He cocked an eyebrow.

"No, she's not awake," I replied.

"Yes I am," She walked out with a smile on her face.

I couldn't help but smile at her, causing her smile to widden.

"Oh my GOD, just get back together already," Nick groaned, standing up from the table.

Ava and I just glanced at each other, and she then took a deep breath.

"I have to go to work, so I need to go home to cha-"

"You have clothes here, I still have all of your old clothes," I interrupted.

"Y- you do?"

"Yea," I smiled.

"Oh, okay, then never mind, I'm going to go get changed and Uber to work because my car is at home," She smiled and walked back into my room.

"I can drive you," I smiled at her.

"oH, okay."

"So when does Dahliah come home?" Nick asked.

"Tomorrow, I'm happy that she is, Ava misses her a lot."

Ava came back out and just walked down the stairs to the car.

"She okay?"

"I don't know?" I shrugged.

I went down to the car, then started driving Ava to work, it being silence the entire time. I wanted to break the silence, but I couldn't, I didn't know what to say.

"So uh how are-"

"I don't want to talk," She cut me off.

I nodded and then racked my brain about what could be upsetting her, and then I realized, it was November 26th, her mothers birthday. I took her hand and she didn't fight me about it.

"You sure you want to go to work today?" I was more quiet.

"I have to," She whispered.

"I can get you out of it, you're sick, cough cough," I chuckled.

"Matt, I'm the owner you can't get me out of owning a business," She laughs quietly.

"Are you going to be okay?"

"Yeah, yeah I'll be okay," She plays with my fingers as I pull into the salon parking lot.

She turns and looks at me and I take the moment to connect our lips. The kiss breaks after a few seconds and I rest my forehead on hers.

"You call me if you need anything, okay?"

She nods in response then gets out of the car.

"I'll call you later, when does Leah get home?"

"Nine tonight," She smiled.

"Let me know if you need me to come over to help," I smiled.

She nods, then shuts the car door. When I saw her walk inside I called a local flower place to send her flowers at a certain time. I went back to the house because we were filming a new podcast video, when during the podcast I got a call from Ava.

"Hey hold on, I need to take this," I got up quickly, and walked downstairs out of ear shot.

"Hey," I answered, and I heard her sobbing.

"I can't I can't do it, I thought I couldn't but I can't," She could hardly speak between her sobs.

"I'm coming, I'll be there in fifteen," I hung up quickly, and went back upstairs.

"We need to do this later," I grabbed my keys from the table and ran back downstairs to the car.

I got to Ava's salon in under fifteen minutes, and practically ran inside.

"Where is sh-" I started but Ava came running to me in tears.

"Right there," Claire let out a small laugh.

"You're okay I got you," I held Ava while she cried, then mouthed a thank you to Claire.

"I'm sorry, I really, I am, I thought I could," She cried.

"You don't need to apologize, I promise," I spoke softly, "Let me get you home, then you can get home rest before Leah gets home, okay?"

"Are you gonna be okay by yourself?" She turned to Claire.

"Oh honey of course," She came over and hugged her, "It's pretty slow the rest of the day."

"Okay thank you, really, thank you," She thanks her.

We walk out to my car, and I open the door for her, the I get in.

"Thank you," She whispers.

"Why?" I asked and she turned her head to look at me.

"For coming here, you didn't have to," She mumbled.

"I'd do anything for you Avalon, get that through your pretty head of yours," I smiled.

"I love you," She turned and looked out the window, but took my hand in hers.

I sat there in shock for a second, I never thought I'd hear those words from her again.

"I-"

"Don't say anything, I know," She softly squeezes my hands not taking her eyes from the window.

We pulled up her driveway and I turned off the car.

"Come in with me?"

"Yeah, yeah I can," I smiled.

"Thank you."

We walked into her house, and she walked into the living room, so I sat on the couch. She grabbed the remote and sat down right next to me, putting her head on my shoulder. She intertwined our fingers and I kissed the top of her head.

"Can we talk about us, for like a few minutes?" She asked.

"Yeah, we can, yea," I got nervous.

She started messing with her fingers and it made me nervous, I don't know why but it did.

"So..."
