a couple of years ago, you dated your best friend, matt. at the time he was your best friend and you both had feeling for each other.

when your relationship went down hill, you started to hate each other. full on argue all the time about the stupidest shit.

but your hatred towards matt wouldn't get in the way of your friendship with his brothers.

being a popular influencer, discovering the music department, you decided to come out with a single.

you did this to see if you liked producing music, which you later found out you loved it.

the single was titled "get him back!" matt being your first boyfriend, you wrote about him.

it wasn't anything sappy or a love song but it was describing your whole relationship with him during that specific time period.

when you released the single, it raised to number 1 on billboard charts.

the triplets decided to make a video reacting to your new single. well nick and chris wanted to listen to it, matt couldn't care less about it.

when nick and chris listened to it, they had no idea who you were writing about. that was the thing. nick and chris didn't know you and matt dated. you both kept it a secret. for a year.

when matt listened to the lyrics, it all made sense.

nick and chris loved it.

they gave a "she definitely needs to make more music," and a, "i want to be featured on one of her songs,"

but matt, matt had no words.

obviously he had to say something for the video, otherwise he'd look like a dick.

"yeah, it was mid," matt replied, a little zoned out.

many people weren't surprised when those words came out of his mouth. they knew his hatred towards the girl and so did she.

that night matt secretly listened to the song many more times, really letting it sink in that what they had was over.
